Want to have some fun? My son told me & a friend this years ago & i don't know what made me think of it today but my friend found this so funny so maybe it will give u a chuckle to. We were at a Chinese restaurant & when they brought our fortune cookies my son told us to add 'in bed' at the end of our fortune. It can be hilarious & if u are like me u need all the laughs u can get. Will u try it??

That does sound funny especially if the fortune makes sense by putting in bed at the end of it. I might just have to try that out the next time I open one up to see how funny and fun it would be. You have a good weekend!

Often works, but sometimes it doesn't.
I had another friend who said to dedicate the fortune to someone else and then open it, extra funny if that person is at the table, but you can also go for actors, or even roles they play on TV or movie.
So, you open one for the bad guy on some TV soap opera you like and it opens to say, "A happy heart brings joy to all" well, you know its just silly - right?

Ya I heard of doing thins along with a few other ideas. It is rather funny to read it that way and can give you a good laugh.

That sounds like fun! Next time Bill and I go to a Chinese restaurant, we'll have to give it a try My next restaurant is going to be a Thai restaurant in the county seat. I lived in Thailand for almost a year and loved the food, finding a restaurant that serves authentic Thai food has been nearly impossible, but this one seems to be the closest thing to being there.
It's really fun to request chop sticks when I order, it seems like people don't think I know how to use them.... I always get watched really close when I start using them.

Such naughty naughty thoughts we're having huh Jo? LOL That's ok sweetie, laughter is the best medicine. Laughter makes life more worth while! Especially during the harder of times. I will have to try that the next time hubby and I go to a Chinese resturant. My parents are usually with us so we'll all get a kick out of it.... tee hee!! I can't wait!

I'll have to try that..LOL..There is a place here we like to eat that gives us fortunes cookies at the end of our meal. That is the place where my b/f was getting those cookies without the fortunes in them! He was the only one of us though.

That is so funny. If I ate those cookies, I would try it for sure!

HI BILL, It is alot of silly fun. I don't have alot of that fun anymore & i miss it. When i could still work i loved getting something silly started in the shop w/my customers. I miss that & miss being around people. I think anytime u can have fun it's a good day.

Good morning, JO! Three years ago (during the good times) when we went to my Step-Mom's 90th birthday, up at McCleese Lake...her favourite is; Chinese Food --so, of course, we had to have it for her birthday. Believe it or not, T.J. drove 35 miles to Williams Lake to pick it up, we put it in the cooler with Hot Water Bottles..to keep it warm..LOL!! After "Mom" had gone to bed...the rest of us, whom all had a bit of "liquid laughter" did that...and we all laughed so hard, tears rolling..WOW..did you bring back some good memories. THanks for sharing, and thanks for the GOOD memories! HUGZ & LUV!!
