Goodbye Fluffy, goodbye Bobo, goodbye Puffles....

No, nobody died. It's the hairballs. Let me explain.
We got a dog at the end of January. We already had 4 cats. And the Swiffer was in constant use, since cats shed. But you ain't seen nothing until you get a dog! The dog, especially now that it's spring, sheds more than all four cats together.
Friday night I was Swiffering some fuzzies up when Michelle arrived. Michelle watches Cary on Friday nights courtesy of your tax dollars (he has autism). We talked about animals shedding, and she cracked me up when she told me that her family names the furballs.
RIP Fluffy. Goodbye Puffles... Into the garbage you go...
I've started naming them now too.
Maybe I've lost it?

No sweetie - you have not lost it. It is when you hear them saying Goodbye Dawn- you will know at that time that you have lost your presence of mind. I lost my presence of mind once when giving birth to my third son. They gave me a little gas ans air canister to take a few whiffs from when I could not take the pain. After 8 hours I through it across the labour room because it was empty and then they would not give me another one.
I went for 15 hours with contractions lasting 90 seconds and 30 second break before the next contraction. 15 hours! I ended up kicking a nurse who was trying to prevent the baby from being born because she had not called the doctor in time and he would be cross with her because I had paid him privately. What does all of this have to do with your discussion. Nothing - but I feel better now.

Cynthie I got to have three of those Trilene canisters when I had my first born. The stubborn boy refused to be born, the doctor decided he went after him with forceps. My friend had one and tried to leave the hospital, because she was convinced that if she could go home it would all stop. They do kind of make you "lose it."

you should be more careful how your express your thoughts on hairloss. Hairballs have feelings too. I have 2 cats and i name each and every hairball and then give them a ceromony with scented candles, while myself and the two cats say prayers under dimmed lighting as Michelle jarre jauque plays in the background. (a recording, not the actual artiste) as we flush them down the toilet.
The reason for this is simple. I am a buddist and i am terrified of coming back as a hairball. the reason i am so afraid is i believe that if i do come back as a hairball someone will give me a silly name like Petunia.

hairball are the cornerstone of mankinds heritage.
i can't prove that in any form what so ever but i do have a gut feeling about hair balls.
so very under rated.
where would Ben Franklin of been without his hairball? i actually don't know but i am sure his donkey must of yacked one up on his kite at some point.
i'll stop now, im rambling.

he he oh my I had a laugh first one this morning. I can just see
people dumping the hairballs into the trash and going so long puffy
good bye dusty, sayonara fuzzie lad. now if I did that the men in the white coats would come to take me away for sure. My son once had downloaded a silly song about hurray hurray they are coming to take
me away, those men in the little white coats, I just got a note
'from Napoleon V , that he's got something for me to see.
After last night with my roommie moaning about how her hip was killing her and she had to go to ther hospital. finally at 11 last night the caregiver got an ambulance for her. so I went to bed exhausted but at three thirty this morning the ambulance men brought her back. and then she talked and played her radio and keep turning on the lights.saying oh did I wake you,I am sorry. really? so I have had about two or three hours sleep. now how on earth did I get off topic like this from hairballs to nutballs lol lol lol.you were saying maybe Ive lost it, and I am thinking oh my maybe I never found it, hairballs and all.

Oh yes! Spring is in, it´s almost summer time to Swiff everybody!! Haha, well at least our dogs. I take them yesterday with the vet to Swiff them.
Is very cute that you played the fluffy game, with your girl!
My children since they are at clubpenguin, they have "puffles" or something similar, haha... and they name them and feed them... and if they don´t feed them correctly they die. I think they are similar to Fluffy, Bobo, and Puffles!
Blessings!...

LMAO! Well if it makes cleaning more fun the why not? My dogs have fine hair so their fluff balls aren't too bad. My daughters cat though because he goes outside had such a thick coat that he leaves cotton balls everywhere. Cotton balls is what they look like too since they are white. A friend who spins her own yarn made a comment about saving the hair to spin with now my 11 year old is saving her cats hair to spin into yarn..in truth I think this is gross but she is really into it and she will learn something I can't teach her by doing this (my friend is saving the hairs from her horse when she brushes her) and they plan to make little baskets out of them not clothes at least.

I posted about people spinning hair into yarn from their pets and some people do it and I found a place that buy by breed! I am not sure I could sit there to separate the hair from the hound and the lab though!

I do not think you have "lost it" I think you have actually "found it" as this is more like the discussions you used to start, before the divorce stress started. I am taking this as a sign that your sense of humor is back and you are more light hearted. My sister, when she became so unsteady she had to have a quad cane, named it. In fact, I think in my family we name almost everything. My brother and his wife drive a Corolla named Cora and a van named Ferdinand.

omg, yes. dogs do shed a ton more. my little tiny coco, sheds so much that people who arent used to it imagine they've got hair in their mouth when they visit.
when we vacuum or sweep, we often joke about the fact that it looks like enough to make another Coco in the pile. wonder how it can be almost as big as her?

LOL! I have a population of these little critters inside and outside our home! I never considered giving them names, it is an interesting prospect. Perhaps they (the hairballs) should be given a voice so we could possibly negotiate where they should live. Who knows that we may not be able to reach a compromise and all of us live happily together...Perhaps not...
OMG, I need to lie down...

Oh, some dogs can shed a lot.. I have noticed that with dogs having long hair, one reason i really don't like all of the fur dogs (i love huskies though) but i didn't know it happens with cats too.
In fact i didn't even notice that when we had our cat.
Next time say goodbye to Mushee-Mushee.

Are we suppose to comment on furballs or you've lost it? With Shelties I can't even say they're furballs, it's just globs of hair everywhere... I've given up trying to dust, vacuum, sweep, etc. The dogs run through once and there's globs of hair again. Now I'd like to quickly address your last question...yup, you've lost it.

Is one of the rules that you can't reuse names? Can you hyphenate the names to put two previous names together or something? Don't give it up!
