Hey, guys~~ I come from China and I am a big fan of travelling around the world , and I have many places wanna pay a visit. But today I come up with a new idea. Do you wanna go to China for a visit? How much do you know about China and Chinese people? Are you interested in knowing more about China and its culture? Hey, friends, if you are invited to go to China, where do you wanna go ? Beijing? Shanghai? Or anywhere else? Why not talk about something you know about China ? What are you gonna do in China if you could come? Hey , I am curious to know your ideas. If you have any questions, let me know,I may help you solve them. And if you are getting ready to come, let me know something about your preparations. I am glad to help you. Thank you very much . Looking forward to hearing your voices.

Hi, Bazingamuhaha, Nice knowing that you love traveling. Have you already been to India? I asked so because India is the nearest or to say neighboring country that you could start from? I do not have a huge plan for traveling round the world but surely would do some of them. If I can not move around China I would surely go the great wall of China and see it with my own eye. Is not it a wonder?

Hi, friend. I believe that you are from India. Yes, I am a big fan of travelling. As for India, I don't know much about it, honestly. Several years ago, when I saw the movie the Slumdog millionare, especially the bad guy was doing something wrong to a little boy, I was scared and sweared to myself: Oh, no, terrible!! I won't go to India in my lifetime. But, recently, when I saw the movie 3 idiots, suddenlt I found India is a lovely place. So I don't know whether I wanna go there. Can you tell me more about India? By the way, when I see the TV show The Big Bang Theory, Raj often said India is so crowded and it is horrible. So I am confused again. I am so happy that you would like to come to China, and I am glad to be your guide. Take care!

Hi Bazingamuhaha, I have been to China several times as an English teacher. I spent one year in Zhuhai, one year in Meizhou (both in Guagndong province) and last fall I was in Yancheng. I really liked being there because it gave me a new perspective on the world than anything I ever saw in America. I might return some day if my health permits. This last trip, I flew into and from Shanhai, but didn't spend any time there to speak of. When my school picked me up, we had to wait a day in order to pick up another teacher so we visited the Bund. We found out at about 2pm that the flight we were waiting on was delayed until 11pm so we wasted all that time. If we would have known that earlier, they would have taken us to the Expo, but by that time it was too late to go back into town and get anything out of it. Oh well... Have a great week!!!

A couple of things. You are not supposed to put email addresses or referral links in posts. Those things should be sent by private message (means you need to be a friend). I don't mind it being there, but if management saw it, they might delete the discussion, or at least the response. Where do you live in China? I hope you are doing well in school. Have a great week!!!

Oh, thank you for warning me this, I did not notice it. Because a couple of days ago the Internet was not good, so I was afraid of missing these responses so I left my email address. Sorry about that. As for myself now, I am in a university in Wuhan. You may wanna know why Wuhan, I believe you must the the "gaokao" in China, I did not do it very well as I deserved, so I gave up Beijing and chose Wuhan. It is very hot in summer and freezing cold in winter. Well, when it comes to myself in school, oh, it is a shame that I was just told to talk about the importance of English to the whole class by my American English teacher because I said some Chinese in his class. Hahahaha...... Hope you enjoy your weekend too. Take care!

I would like to go to the Great Wall. I used to work with people from China when I worked at the Ann Arbor News. I also briefly worked with this Chinese guy when I worked at Cedar Point. He was very funny and I miss him. I would also go to museums in China if they have them and also I would see some ceremonies wherever they are. I would also like to go to Hong Kong.

Yep, I almost go to Beijing every year. And I love the city so much. But, you know ,as our capital is becoming more and more crowded, people are having more and more problems there. Housing prices, living conditions, education ect. After all, we still love it from the bottom of our heart. Nothing's gonna change my love for it!! As I come from Shandong Province, but I come to Xinjiang, Dunhuang, Xi'an, Qianhuangdao, wuhan, etc. I love travelling. Good luck and take care!

I would suggest you go to Guizhou province in China.Actually It's my hometown.By the way,I am chinese. The reasons I provide is that Guizhou has the lowest GDP in china and it is environmental, exotic and mysterious. The best known village in Guizhou is Xijiang Miao Village which has thousands of wooden houses of Miao on one hill.Nearby, there is a spring. You can aslo find local creations, delicious foods and snacks.Hope someone can go and I would like to be the guide.

China is one of the countries on my travel wish list. I would love to travel there all the way from Europe by train. There is a train that goes from Moscow to Beijing via Mongolia. There is also the Silk Route and that would be an exciting route to take. I would like to see a village in China and get off the beaten track a little. One of my friends works as an English teacher near to Shanghai and he really loves it in China. Happy traveling.

Hello maximax, Exactly. Even me too am fascinated by the village life of China. Though to some extent it resembles to that of India still theirs is different. I heard that the local Chinese people are very hospitable to the outsider but they could be equally ferocious if you try to play tricks with them.

China does not really interest me. I don't know why I have never really thought of traveling in that place. I've been to Hong Kong several times and I think China is nothing much different than Hong Kong so maybe that is the reason I am no longer interested to travel and explore that place.
• China

Actually, mainland China is so different from Hong Kong. You should come here and find it out, I believe you will be impressed here. Also, you will find it more interesting than you expected. Also, we are friendly to all of you and I do hope you can come. Thanks for your reply and take care!

I am a Malaysian Chinese. My grand parents were from China, Fujian. If I am invited to travel in China, for sure I want to return to my grandfather's origin to understand further about the culture there. At the same time, I can visit all of my relatives who are still in China. I hope they can recognize me, ha! ha! ha! This is the most meaningful and wonderful exploration in my life.

i would love to go to china its so exciting to go to such a place where every one is hard working and smart enough that they conquered the whole world with there low priced products i really don't know that much about china but i have one little question for you and don't take it as something bad but what is the keyboards like there in china how is the letters i hear that you have more that 3000 letters ?? is that right or wrong and if there is any chance that you could take a photo of your keyboard and post it here
• China
20 Apr 11
Haha, thank you so much. I believe not everyone in China is so hard-working as you said. Yes, most of us are diligent but some people do not. So if you do come here and find someone is lazy ,please do not be sad. Haha. As for your question about keyboard, I don't full understand what keyboard do you mean. Our Chinese characters? If that, I believe they are more than just 3000 letters...... Please describe it further and if you have more questions ,let me know. I will try my best to help you know more about China. And , my friend, you are welcomed to come here. Thank you again and take care!

My dear friend, I do hope you could come to China one day. I believe you will be impressed by what you see and what you hear here. It must be different from what you see at home. Great changes have taken place in China through these years. And Trust me, what you media's reports at home sometimes are not true. If you really wanna know the actual China, I hope you can come here and find it in person. Just as me, I really wanna know the real Amierca, and I will go there to futher my study in 3 years. If you have more questions about China and travel to China, let me know, I will try my best to help you, friend. Good luck and take care!

I've not been to China, but I'd like to. You've changed all the names of the places, so I am not sure where it is now I want to visit? Beijing (which used to be Peking?), Shanghai, and I would like to at least stand on the Great Wall of China. It's too long to walk along, but just to be seen from space would be cool. Culturally it will be very enlightening. I see a lot report in the media about your communist ways and the state control, but would like to see it for myself. :)
