While speaking to the lady who lives next door to me, she was saying about thankfully her cat was insured, it would have cost her £1400 as it needed urgent vet treatment as well as stay at the vets, so i have decided that after saying who i am with and she said what rubbish they were i would change to her insurance company.I am glad that she told me what problems she had with the company that i am with, as that is why she changed as they tried getting out of paying for it.Its not what you know, it is who knows these companys and have tried them that counts.

Wow glad you found out about the insurance probable issues later if your cats got sick. Gee most insurance's are great until you actually have to use them. Best of luck and make sure to do comparisons and or ask to hear from members who are currently using the plans.

Exactly. I am glad that you found out about the other company in advance before it was too late. You have to be so careful with everything these days.

Wow, I never heard of pet health insurance. What a good idea. My brother's cat just got out of the hospital and that cost a lot. Maybe he should get that kind of insurance if it is offered in the US. I just looked up to see if they do have such services here and learned that the Humane Society endorses one called Pet Plan. Don't you think the Humane Society's logo is cute: http://www.gopetplan.com/Images/logo_humanesociety.png

I had that very same problem with our German Shepherd dog. We got him registered and got 3 months free insurance coverage on him and when I went to file a claim, they refused to pay saying it wasn't covered. I dropped them right then and there! So who is this insurance company that you're with now? How much does it cost? I know it goes by the age of your pets so what is your cat's age? I hope it's as good as it says it is because I've become quite leary these days.

Cat insurance?? lol =D i din know there's such insurance for cats as well?? haha =D I dun think many people would wanna buy insurance for their pets, because if their pets are injured or sick, irresponsible owners will just abandon them, or leave them to die. They will never pay for insurance.. lol =D U are lucky to have a nice neighbour to share information and both of u are indeed cats lovers.. haha =D

To be honest i think that any pet insurance is worth paying for, as vets do charge alot of money and there are alot of vets that also like doing loads of blood tests as well as xrays and they are the things that do cost the money.Even for peace of mind, knowing a good insurance for pets is a great idea.

I wouldn't. Here in the U.S. Cat insurance is extremely expensive. It's really not worth it.

Word of mouth and personal experience are the best criteria for choosing services. I am glad you can make this change for your cats.

I am so glad they have cat and dog insurance now. Experience with these things does pay. Helps to know people that have experienced it and know which are good and which don't live up to their responsibilities. I would hate to pay for the insurance and then find they didn't come through.

I don't have any friends around me whom insured their pets. U are the first person to do so. I wonder how much is the premium for pets and what's their coverage? As pets are always highly active, climbing, running anywhere, making them injury prone. It's not going to be cheap right? Are their insurance like us, humans, or there's certain part of their body they can be insured too?
