I came accross few discussions which were of the lotter who joined a couple of days earlier. Anyone with a little bit of brains can easily sort out that this particular lotter was either lying or faking or whatever it is ... provided you have gone through all of his posts. But again ... its quiet evident that his/her posts resemble someone who was directed to the exit door. Had there been any cases when you felt like ... this newbie sounds more of an veteran lotter ? Can you identify lotters by the way they make their posts in here ... coz each one of us have a unique way to express things ? Ahhh .... this post isn't about those who come back with a similar profile name which more or less is related to their earlier account.

In some cases the returning members are very easy to spot, because they use almost the same name or the same avatar as they did in their first profile. If I was friends with them in the past I usually recognize their new profiles. Some returning members choose different names and avatars. I usually write "Welcome to Mylot" when a new member participates in my discussions, but I sometimes wonder if the words "Welcome back" would be more appropriate Sometimes I get a feeling that some of the new members aren't quite a new as they look, but I could be wrong and I usually keep my thoughts to myself.

I am inclined to do that way, and keep my guesses to myself, unless they come right out and say that they left and came back. I have run into at least one this evening, but that is okay.I will keep quiet about it.

For a while I was hanging around with some mylotters who kept getting in that kind of trouble, but lately I've got better things to do. How do you like your new avatar?

I have seen many times where a person who has been removed from here, or removed themselves comes back and even though they try and assume they have never been here before just from the way you post you recognize it right away, especially the ones who have been vindictive. Yes, everyone in here does have their own style and ere about them. That is what keeps this site so unique.

Admin can identify easily as their real name has to be registered and when that happens they will sure know who is who.

Not really ... i dont think they're dumb enough to join mylot with the same email or name.

They can't fool Pay pal where they require their real name and an email which they must have already registered under their name. If I am wrong how do you think they will manage their Pay pal account here?

Yeah ... if mylot seeks the help of PP then they can weed out such kinda members from mylot.

Hi. sunnycool. A lot of this has been going on at myLot very often. There is actually a myLotter that has been created again, let me just say it like this. I wonder if this is the same individual that you are referring to? Their account was closed out and they have created a new account under their same name, but they just have changed up their user name a bit. I have not been paying any attention to their discussions that they have made. But I will be on the look out if they start to become an obnoxious troll though.

Hi cream, From what you said ... i can pretty much say that we're talking about different lotters. However i'm a bit curious as what might be the reason behind the closure of his/her previous account?

I think it's really difficult to identify people from their online posts unless there is something extremely distinctive about the way that they write. Typed words aren't like handwriting, which is really distinctive and unique, so I think it is more likely that people can be mistaken for someone else by the way that they type online. For me this isn't a concern. If the conversation is interesting then I will respond to it. It's up to MyLot to decide who is violating their terms of service and who is not. I'm just here to enjoy the conversation lol.

Naaah girl ... its damn easy to identify your friends through their posts! Each one of them voice their opinions in various tones ... it shouldn't be too difficult for you too unless you haven't been friends with them for quiet a while. thanks for dropping by.Happy weekend :)

I've notice a few people here that have disappeared. And I remember the tone of their discussions that got them booted out. Even when they came back with different user names, they still carried the same tone. I just save myself the headache and frustration, and I stay away from their discussions.

Starting afresh to spam others or to annoy specific ones isn't different ... they're better when kicked out of this site!

Do you mean someone boarded a wrong cab again Well yes, there are some chances of this kind of things happening and we are still without any laws for checking or blocking the re-occurance of such things
@sunnycool (12714)

Laws ? Hope those work! But again the ones we discussing about are quiet capable of breaking them right.

I know there are such mylotters around. There are not doing anything wrong or illegal since it's allowed to delete one's old account, starting anew again. That's their choice, while some choose to remain anonymous while some might broadcast it. After all, it doesn't hurt to see a fresh account because mylot means something to them. I will start anew too when i no longer have the motivation to mylot anymore.

Irrespective other people short coming, I think the best option is to do the best we can to share information among ourselves.

There are some that keep bouncing in, then deleting themselves. Others, I meet, and they seem familiar, but I cannot quite place them. Some are trying to escape an old image, as well. I find myself wondering what leads to this kind of decision.

Heyya sunnycool! Great to see you! Oh yes...I have even called one out in one of their discussions before. It took me a couple of discussions, but I figured them out. I was actually afraid of being wrong at first..lol..so I didn't when I first thought...hmmm...that kind of rings familiar with me. I do think that most people that come back actually have somewhat similar usernames though. People put a lot of thought into them sometimes. I have also seen people come back with "alter egos" before. Those are the hardest to pick out.

Well i don't know why would mylot ask them to leave unless they were spamming. For me personally i haven't been that active on mylot, but now i have come back:) Mylot is all about community not for people to come here and spam!

Some i feel are made to give up for violating guidelines. But this site is such a good and useful one that they want to be back.I agree with your view a careful analysis will reveal the identity of the writer.I say this because each of us has a unique style which can't be masked despite some of our best effort to do this.

Maybe they chose to leave and then decided they missed mylot so much they came back. I don't know, myself I'm not a veteran mylotter I'm brand new here. (looks in mirror to make sure mask is still in place) Seriously people leave for a number of reasons. Some come back some don't but that doesn't necessarily mean they were ask to leave just because they disappeared for awhile. If the person is being open and you can guess who he/she might be chances are they have nothing to hide. That is just my opinion and I'm just a newbie after all. =)
