I am not inteested in watching the premiere in the cinema because I prefer to watch the movie anytime I like. Some time ago my friend went to watch the premiere in the cinema. Hard to believe, the premiere was in the mid-night. After watching this movie, it was already so late. I can only think that he is a real fan of movie

No I don't. Precisely because in a movie premiere, a lot of fans would be there to see the stars who will watch the film. I can't stand too much crowd. I'd rather watch the movie in peace!

I've been to only one premiere and it was a last minute thing with free tickets from a friend....BIG MISTAKE! The friend didn't know the rating of the movie and assured us that we could take the kids. It happened to be a good movie that could be enjoyed by adults but definitely a no-no for kids :-(

That's a very reasonable doubt and I have no idea how they allowed it. They probably missed us because it was last minute and we were literally rushing in as the movie was about to start. Anyway....this particular friend of my husband's is totally irresponsible when it comes to kids and taking care of them. I actually had a doubt when I heard the name of the movie and asked my husband to check up...but he had full confidence in his friend!!

If it is not good for the kids, why the cinema will allow them to enter?

same with me i like to watch them in my computer through internet and just download in torrent sites. this way i could save a lot and not spend money watching movies alone. i like to watch movies at home with my family and just play the movies in my television with usb connector. although the quality is sacrifices but still able to watch the movies in advance before the movies is screen in my local cinema.

I have never watch premiere before in cinema, and I don't think I will like to watch a premiere in cinema. Premiere always are crowded and is always pack with people. Why need to take a long queue just to watch a movie, I prefer to watch at other time.

Nope. I usually watch movies on my own so I have the choice of watching it at home. I feel that's more convenient and less stressful. I just pop the movie into the player, grab some food and watch away. But there are times when I do go to the theater when my friends and I join together to watch a favorite movie. I kinda dread going out since the movie ticket is quite a sum and I am tempted to much on many fast food as I watch. But it was a great bonding moments for all of us.

I think so. But some people prefer to have the best effects and therefore they like to watch movies in the cinema.

I like to go see the premiere if it is something I want to see on the big screen. If not I can wait until it comes out on DVD. It really depends. I had to see Thor and Tron on the big screen to get the full effect. And Avatar. SOmething about seeing them on the big screen and not on a smaller tv like I have.

Hi youless, For almost 10 years I had not seen movie in the hall. But suddenly couple of months back One of my friends proposed that e go to hall. That was an art movie portraying the real scenario of the Indian farmer. The only thing is that common people did not like it. When you watch film in the cinema hall or multiplex the effect is tremendous that you would not get them sitting at home and seeing it DVD/VCD players.

I don't really like watching the premiere in the cinema because it is too crowded. Besides that, my son don't like sitting in the dark. That's why, it is much better for me to watch the movie in the comfort of my own home.

I am the same- one me and my sis went to the premier of Anaconda(blood orchid) there were lots of people and we just stood at the back- it was quite hot. So i'll never go to premiers anymore since i can just watch it anytime, or i'll just wait for the dvd.

well, maybe they want to see it first to tell their friends how it went or brag abut it...or maybe they are just so excited about it- yeah, i think that's the main reason.

Most of the time my sister and I will watch movies on the first day released if we could not make it then anytime will be fine. It depends because we usually go to cinema the same day the movie released so that is why we always be among the first who watch them. But premiere..there is only once when we watched the last episode of the lord of the ring. I won free tickets anyway~

Ha? I guess your friend is a fan of the actors or actresses in the movie. And maybe she is after those actors and actresses that may be present in the premiere. I wouldn't be watching a movie premiere, if it means coming home after midnight. However, if i have a car to take me home, why not?

When a movie comes out that I want to see, I prefer to wait till it is available through iTunes so I can watch it on my iPod, curled up in my favourite chair, at my favourite cafe. With the tiny screen right infront of me, it doesn't look that small. Also, with my big-azz headphones, it sounds better than ANY movie theater.

I'm not really interested in seeing the premiere of a movie in the cinema. I'd much rather wait, and just see it when I feel like seeing it, or have the time, or something to that effect.

I have known of people that have went to see midnight premieres too. I have never been interested in a particular movie enough to do it. I know there were alot of people that went to those for Harry Potters and Twilights..but I haven't. It might be fun to do it once though.
