Small Joke on Me

So I posted this discussion a while back about Quality Health. I was asking people if they had ever seen any of the free samples that this site offers. Some people said yes, others said no. I finally lost my patience and cancelled my account there. That was about a month ago. Today I picked the mail up, and there's my Quality Health free sample of of Neutrogena body wash. lol I guess the joke was on me for being impatient. Or was the joke on them for being slow? Now I wonder what else might pop up in the mail...
Did anybody else have a surprise today? Or a small, but pleasant joke on them?

yes, I did, but if it's an emergency, I can understand the high shipping cost

This was my first and last time trying to order something online so I can't tell. In the meantime I found the perfect pair of jeans at Target.

I've never heard of them.. but I wouldn't like to have to jump through hoops to get anything either... I do surveys sometimes and get stuff to try.

You only have to answer a few questions, but then the samples never turn up...

You know, I still have never gotten any from there or from the other site. I did get a nice cat hair cleaner from Right@Home though. In today's mail I got a picture of my nephew who just recently joined the Navy. That was the good thing.
My not so good surprise was that my internet has been down all day. Son got it going. It did not need a new modem, it does need a new ADSL cord, and our Radio Shack just moved and has not unpacked yet.

If this sample has turned up, perhaps some of the others will too. Not holding my breath though.

To be honest with you I have always been a bit spectacle about those sites. I have tried to ask several people if they have ever had any luck with them, but unfortunately no one I know have actually signed up for them. I have been tempted do sign up, but I never did. Apparently it does work you just have to be patient, hey at least you got the free sample out of it.

No, not me. I learned somethings on how to manipulate my grandson into doing what is right and they may cause a joke back on him in the future. We'll see. I am glad you recieved something from this Quality Health. I wonder if they ran out and had to wait for a new shipment. I ordered some dresses for my vacation and was notified by the company that I won't get them until early July and one in August. I was disappointed. But I did find a cool one while on vacation(on the way home). I just wanted a couple of comfortaable dresses to wear shopping and to look nice when we went to eat. Oh well. Such is life.(Did that come anywhere near answering your question?)

Perhaps more have been sent before you signed off on it and you will get them.

Oops! Ha ha! And will you feel guilty when you use the wash? Hee hee. I know I've often gotten freebies well after I've forgotten about them . . . seriously, it does take a long time to get freebies - I figure they want to send them out in bulk to keep shipping down low - afterall, it's just free to us. But yah, who wants to wait that long! Stupid thing for me is I end up not using these freebies - hee hee! A joke on me today? Can't think of any actually . . . life's been so busy lately I'm so not in a joking mood - ahhhhhh!!

Haha! I'm not the most patient of people but free samples? Gimme some of that, so long as it's carpet or wallpaper that I'm prepared to wait, oh, at least a week for, if necessary!

This has been quite a slow and jokeless day for me, but I see it took since January for you to get the sample. Wow now that really is a shame for any site to take so long, unless they ran out of samples and could not ship them until way later.
Usually when I send off for samples, it does take around 4 - 6 weeks. If it has not arrived by then, I must admit I completely forget about the sample I was expecting. I did though upon a request from another member here signed up on facebook for sinus medication sample. To my surprise I received it under a week. That was shocking as I did not think I would get it.

I must have signed up for dozens of samples between January and April. So far this is the only one that has shown up.

I belong to several sites like this. It should have told you when you placed the order that it would take 4 to 6 weeks to arrive in the mail. Although, I have felt like you did before. I'm not the most patient person in the world. However, there's loads of free things being handed out and I'm not going to turn them down no matter how long the wait.

Hi Dawnald,
I can hardly remember when I got something for free... I did get a 2 quart container of lactaid milk once as a freebee.. it was from doing a survey... it was good too because it was free i guess.. because I don't even like milk too much.. but that was good.

I used to be signed up for a bunch of freebie things, but most of them were not worth it.

Thank you for getting back to me Dawnald. I've never had anything free other than the item from the survey I did. I would love to have more of them, but haven't gotten any.

I guess they must not be a joke on you as they have been to me. Yesterday we got 2 small checks in the mail that were refunds for G.A.P. insurance on our van we paid off in spring. I'm excited because I can buy some groceries and hit some subdivision rummage sales.

I have never gotten anything from Quality Health, although I have received several samples from Vocal Point in the past. Lately it seems the only things I get in the mail are bills, bills, and more bills!

My maid loves me..(she's also a rabbit). She offered diaries that her son has brought home. Now, what on earth am I going to do with them!!! Anyway, it seems to high-handed to refuse, so I accepted. She did this to me on Jan 1st as well. She got me half-a-dozen calendars. While it is nice to be remembered..half a dozen, don't you think they are one too many? LOL
