Isn't it a wonderful surprise to received an engagement ring sent thru courier? Can you just imagine receiving an engagement sent thru courier? Not the usual package right?...isn't wonderful? How would you react? And the best part is,you don't have any idea that you will received one (oho!) Okay guys, just for fun...what would you feel? Do you wish to received one?

I would like to receive the same in person instead of a Courier man delivering it to me.

Even if you may not consider it as a surprise, I didn't quite appreciate the idea of receiving the ring through Courier. When your (would be) partner is helping you wear the ring, that looks more loving and caring.

hello Jaiho, Though i am married and it was an arranged marriage. But i think anything is acceptable but engagement ring by courier oh no...not acceptable. You know lot of love & affection, commitments are attached with that ring and when you insert this in the finger of your partner by you it seems as if you have made promise in silence but when you send it through courier these all things you have to imagine.

Hummm I would probably say NO to the sender. If he really loves you, he must have to tell you his proposal face to face with you. Well, if granting that he truly loves, I still don't like the style because it isn't romantic...hehehe So, jaiho, how did you react if that would be you receiving this Engagement Ring??

Yes, it is a wonderful idea, provided the two agree in advance for an engagement. It is more surprising if it is unilateral - the height of craze of one to another. Yes, jaiho, you may deserve that.

I like what you wrote sir.. risk of refusal I wonder how many men do have this kind of guts...(^_*) I myself is a risktaker when it comes to love...i love someone without asking or hoping to be acknowledge. If ever i get rejected...it's not my loss, but his

A romantic proposal means that the proposer is highly impressed and goes ahead even with a risk of refusal. That might be the reason, some one sent you the engagement ring as a unilateral proposal. It is up to the other for accepting or rejecting the proposal, and the proposer should not mind the rejection.

Hello kat, That's just a part of the surprise. Eventually he will come/appear and will slip the ring into your finger while asking you to marry him Just a sweet and surprise way is to send it thru courier first...for a change. have a great day

No offense to the person who has actually proposed through a courier, but I personally won't be as much as happy as when I get proposed to in person. Obviously, couriers are for letters and packages. An engagement ring is not something you just sends in. I know some couples are having long distance relationships, and the guy just wants to propose ASAP even if they're still apart. But that's just not the way to do it even if you're miles apart. If you really love her, then go out of your way, show up to her in person, tell her how much you love her and ask her to marry you.

If i will received an engagement ring thru courier for sure i will be shock.. but i will more appreciate it if my boyfriend will give it to me infront of my family and friends. and ask me if i will marry him. with music around.. candlelight dinner and an orchestra.. hahahaha... for me that's the most romantic way... rather than received it thru courier.:)although its funny and surprising.. but i want it that way.. :)

Well, I wouldn't. If it's an engagement ring, it should be delivered personally. Unless, it's part of an elaborate gimmick, like I'd receive the engagement ring, but with an invitation to a dinner at a beautiful place then there'd be an amazing surprise for me, then the ring would be presented again, in person. It's an engagement ring. It means the person wants to marry you. It should be delivered with utmost respect. If I didn't know who gave it to me, I'd consider him a stalker and trace it and have a Temporary Restraining Order filed against the person. :p

It will be a surprise to receive an engagement ring like that. However, I am afraid whether it can be lost on the way. Since the engagement ring can be an expensive thing. Perhaps this is not the safest way to send this precious thing by courier. I prefer he will give it to me in person:) I love China

Wow, that does sound like a wonderful surprise to have. Since you are not expecting it to happen to you. I would be wonderfully surprised too. Its a good thing that your mail courier doesn't look through the mail. Then he might have stolen it. I just have to be careful with the kinds of mail that I send because I don't want them to get lost or stolen. So I have to send them by registered mail. It costs me than regular mail but its more secure and safe.

hello nijo, Courier/s are also registered. Better go for the most reliable one like UPS,or any courier/s in your place that is trusted. Besides couriers will asks you to write and declare what's inside the parcel and give you assurance that it will reach it's destination safely. have a good day
