I know some of you are wondering where I am lately. Well, we are doing a project in the back yard on one of the sheds, and while I'm not able to get out there and do the work in this heat - I'm the one on call for going to pick up those things we need/didn't get enough of or just forgot! You don't need to be on facebook to look at these pictures. NOT A REFERRAL LINK - VITAL TO THE DISCUSSION! http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.1913321351972.2093104.1210065193&l=66bdc9e51a&type=1 So, we STILL have another day of work, but hopefully this will be IT! Have you ever remodeled anything? I hope the studs were in the right place, because the ones in these sheds were NOT!

Wow, that's a lot of work!! Isn't it great to accomplish such a feat, though? That looks very, very nice and you can start from scratch when you put things into it. I like that it's off the ground--you won't have a lot of the bugs that like to crawl into sheds!

So long as we don't have rats or possums! I'll make it a point to not eat out there!

I can't, the fibro hits when I go out into the heat. I'm not even the one taking the pictures, tho I did take the 2 of the packed sheds, but that was early in the morning before the crew got here

It is good to hear from you. We made our back deck into another add-on room of the house last year. It turned out really well and we spend alot of time out here.

My sister used to have a screened in porch in Tennessee and they used it as a 3 season room, but did use it a bit if it weren't too cold in the winter they also didn't go out if it were too hot in summer, but it was nice, since it was high, their back yard was down a story from the main floor of the house.

Everything in this house is off. I have a railing going into the cellar that was loose. A friend came to tighten it up, and he couldn't find studs where they are supposed to be. He even had one of those studfinders. He finally found them, but they were not where they were supposed to be!

I hear that, there are some things in this house that aren't right, I think they did studs at 24 inches instead of 18 or whatever...

I would say you have some mighty fine help getting this job done. Did I see three different sheds there? I want you to know that Creamery keeps sitting on my laptop. I do not know what that means about the weather, but he has not done that before. I just had a leg out across the screen.

Hi Elic, the link is not working for some reason. Not remodelled but things ordered on-line and delivered by post need to be put together. I have a whipper snipper to put together and a laptop stand that I can use sitting up in bed....snuggled up on cold winter nights. The parts are all there from what I can make out but the instructions leave a lot to be deciphered.

One is the roommate's nephew, another is a friend and the last is my guy friend, J. The cute gal is the roommate's niece and the little guy is her great nephew, her nephew's son.

Looks like things are coming along and you have a lot of helpers to get the job done. I've heard it's been quite toasty down by you. We've remodeled our kitchen, when we moved in. It was in a tragic state of affairs. However, it probably could use a more professional remodel vs a DIY remodel but those are even more expensive. And as disrespectful of things we have here at home I don't know that I'd want to invest in much more than a coat of paint til they are older and understand why their behavior upsets me so much.

oh my, you know, if you make the child clean something up, to the best of their age/ability, they are less apt to damage/mess things up again... I know that's what I learned as a child...

Wow! You really got a project going on here! Good for you! I never have remodeled anything! I would not be good at it! I would not want to do it either! Not my thing!

I have tons of remodeling that needs done, but it is not happening. No money, no one else interested. I was going to mow this morning, of course it rains. So I rearranged my priorities and I am getting to the computer first.

I'm not actually doing the work, got a couple of young men doing the hard stuff, but today I did get out there and moved a couple of shelves around on a couple of book cases for putting my craft books on! Now, if it just doesn't rain... but because I don't want it to, it probably will!

Oh my Elic! Wow what a huge and well organized project you all have going there. This is a definite and excellent reason to be away. I loved all the pictures there and all seems to be going well. It does look like all even the child is having a great time seeing this all come together.

Yeah, Lane is a big help - he was back today and helping us move the shelves on a couple of the metal bookcases being power washed, well, he was handing us screws and nuts and picking them off the ground when we dropped them until he got bored... I have shelves to go in the back wall, a desk, a table to cut on, an ironing board... I'll be able to SEW!

That is beautiful, Elic! I wish I had someone who could come fix my shed up like that. I sooooo want to get it insulated and inner walls put in, at least!
