I've got to buy some allergy pills or something, but I don't really like to use them. I think I may stock up on some hot teas, not really a tea drinker but if it has a nice flavor I might take it up. mm, that makes me think of hot apple cider, kind of an odd combo but lol.
Allergy Season and Cold Season is among us...
anyone else having allergy problems?

Allergies have been bothering me lately. If you have a hot bath/shower and breath in the steam this will help to clear your head. I usually use the non-drowsy kind of allergy tablets. Strengthening your immune system may help and you can do that by taking L-lysine supplement.

Yes, they sure do. L-lysine is one of 20 some amino acids we have in our bodies. Pretty interesting stuff.

I have bad allergies during the summer months, and I will admit that I take a pill every morning so that it will take a little bit of the pain away from me. My Mother uses a nasal spray, which does actually seem to be working for her at this moment in time. I think that it is an alternate treatment which a lot of people don't know about, but there is a lot to be said for anything that works without having to put chemicals in your body by taking a tablet. I don't think that many other things work, and I am happy to just carry on taking the tablets as they work for me at this moment in time.

I was just talking about this on another site. It is recommended (you can find the advice on the internet even) to help one's allergies that you eat made locally. I saw some honey at my local Walmart Supercenter that was made in my own town. So I bought it and use it when I remember. Like once I put it in my pancake batter mix. It's easy to eat it on bread, of course. So you might want to give that a try. On the other site after I suggested it, another lady said she has been doing that for years and it really helps her.

Yeah, my nose is running and sometimes I have difficulty catching my breath.
If you know what your allergies are, we have a health food store that has allegy fighing stuff where you take microscopic amounts of whatever you're allergic to and build up a little at a time until your body can fight it. But you need to start taking it before allergy season so that your body is all ready and has no problem with it. So something to think about if you have such a place near your for next year.

I have allergy flare ups all the time. I was in a beauty salon one day and a lady heard me talking about allergies to hair products. I knew her and she told me to try finding local honey and eating it. I have heard this is a remedy because it gets your body to help resist allergies.

Hot teas with spices in them seem to help. I do have mild seasonal allergies, but not having trouble right now. I have always been told to drink things like hot lemonade, squeezed from the real lemons, and I guess it works for other citrus as well. The oils from them are antihistamine. I try to not take too many allergy pills as they seem to sometimes bother other problems. When I do take them I take the generic form of Claritin, and it does not make me sleepy. I have heard that you can make a steam treatment with Tea Tree oil in boiling water and breathe it. I know I use a combo of tea tree and lavender when I go to bed at night. I dilute it with a carrier oil, like grape seed, so it does not burn my skin.

I usually have my allergies flaring up a couple times per year. They are not bothering me this year yet. I usually take medicine from Walgreens or Walmart.

I actually like tea so I wouldn't mind that for allergies. Every year i get bad sick from my allergies. I just hate it. I have found that improving my immune system has helped my allergies.

For rash and allergies Melt 3 full tablespoons of potato flour in a glass of water, add to a bucket of water, repeat with more buckets and fill up a tub. Relax in the tub several times a day and Use avocado paste to apply on rash.Remember to drink lots of water , do some exercise and eat healthy and natural, it can’t do nothing but help.
