Ratings and best responses

I get happiness, rating + , the respondents of my discussions that i find to be really related and interesting. That way, i know i am helping them to increase their star rating. I also mark the best response, even if the responses are not that many yet.

To me it feels like a ranking or where you are in the Mylot pecking order. i think people with numbers such as 25000 or more are those who have been on the site from day one and those with much lower numbers are present.

If your rating goes up it does help your earnings as it is figured into the earnings formula, but it would make me feel better if it went up. I like getting best responses because that tells me that I am helping others.

dfolin our reputations do affect our earnings according to the guidelines as they are figured in the earnings algorithm so the better or higher the percentage the better you will earn. so helping others move up by rating all the time is a real help to all of us.I moved up a point and it made me feel great.I also like get best response too .they do motivate us I think.

Hello Dfollin, Oh yes getting improved in rating encourages me to take part in more discussions and write quality responses.I remember when my reputation was not increasing i was upset but when it got increased i was delighted and became more active here.But recently i don't pay more attention to the reputation as it only stresses mind.Oh yes when you are awarded the best response by someone it is always a special feeling as if i have been a winner from many of the participants and always encourges me to write more quality responses to get more BRs.

i do not really know how the +,- and best response help us in earning here in mylot but i am very inspired seeing my star leveling up! and when i get the best response it gives me some bragging rights. it delights me to receive that appreciation. and i do return that appreciation by responding to the comments on my discussion and giving + to the their posts.

I am not really sure anymore. I stopped trying to figure all of that out.

to receive the 'best response' recognition is a plus. but it is not what i target here mostly, but the learning and, of course, the earnings that could augment some little expenses.

Although I don't know to much about it. But it is my opinion that rating and best response does not affect our earning. + rating increase percentage of our reputation. Best response motivate us to post more responses.

I love it when people acknowledge my response but more so when they rate my response as the best. It only proves and shows that people take the time to read what I have to say. I have gain friends from this ratings.
