Female employees are just too emotional and sensitive

I have worked with a couple of female co - workers, and I think they are too emotional and sensitive, when our supervisor criticize their work performance, even a small criticism and hope they understand it. Or maybe our boss was in a bad mood of the moment. I had seen they took his words too serious and they think he is too harsh to our fellow female employee. They start crying at break time, and they start complain about how cruel and impolite our boss. I may feel the same too, but I didn't cry out loud like the girl co - worker though. When it comes to work, we might experience harsh criticism from our supervisor, but just watch out what we doing, and keep on improve the work performance, he would say anything harsh next time.

have you tried to have a female boss? now that would be more head ache than just seeing female co workers gets emotional and sensitive with what the boss was saying. i guess it is a natural thing with women. my wife is not that emotional but there are moods. sometimes they become emotional before their menstrual period or they get too emotional during pregnancy. i guess thats what differs men from women.

I read that men wake up telling themselves that they are great, women do the opposite. Therefore having someone telling a woman that she is doing badly adds up to that down feeling. Being a boss takes up skills. A good boss learns to motivate all his sub ordinates, men and women. A bad boss doesnt care how to motivate. I think your boss is not good enough, its not the female workers fault.

I could not agree more! I have a boss who is really good on motivating his employees. He never shouted at me, and I never cried because of him. I have seen the boss from other department and he wasn't a good one. He always shout at them and he always make his female employees cry.

What good deeds have you done to deserve a good boss? I think a good boss is one in 100 000? A good boss will breed another good boss. Inform me if you are hiring..

I don't think that you can say that about every female in the world, because at the end of the day everybody is different and will react to things in different ways. I also think that a lot of males have issues as well, although they will bottle up their feelings instead of discussing them with people, and this means that they can get into trouble in the future because their feelings will no doubt manifest themselves in ways that they would not even have imagined. Each gender have their negatives, but they both also have many positives which means that they would make excellent workers.

Women are emotional creatures. Unlike their counterpart, men. They have a whole different way of looking at things, feeling things. Men do not, men are more logical, things have to make sense to a man, we think that way, we are wired that way. Women think with emotion, no logic, so they do become sensitive when someone criticizes them, they take things sometimes way too hard. Also, some women, because they are sensitive, can make a situation worse, especially in the work place.

Hi,kingparker! You can't conclude the mood of female workers by your two female co-workers because nothing could be shown by your experiences! You don't understand female! They are just self-respecting and lacrimose sometimes! But not every female likes that, most of females are strong! Are you clear!?

I think your boss is being too harsh. It is not right for anyone to cry at owrk. I don't mean that the women yu work with are too emotional, as they wouldn't be crying for nothing. If it was just one woman crying it may be that she over reacted. A good boss does not get his workers to the crying stage.

Well, women are emotional in nature. You have to understand that they tend to express their emotions more than men. I appreciate the fact that women are that way because that's what makes them women. =D As a matter of fact, I appreciate women in general, especially those that has a cute face and a beautiful body.

I really think it depends and I am not being bias here. I am personally very emotional but there are a lot of women who are not. Some are even emotionally stronger than men. I also think that being emotional has its benefits.

Come on, Kingparker. They are girls. It is their privilege to cry and swear once they feel wronged. It seems a little ungentle to complain about that.

That's why the silent criteria for hiring in our office is should be Male. The entry position in our department is field cashier. As a field cashier, you will deal with a lot of people, like customers, co-employees, bosses, and others. We need a flexible person to do the job and those that could blend well with their assigned post. We put them in routines so they don't know if the assigned post is not convenient for women like a forest destination.

I have to say not all female workers act like this, sometimes some male workers act like this. It depends on people's different personal characters, which may be related to the heredity, family atmosphere and growing experience etc.

Hello Kingparker, Agree to your point females are emotional and sensitive not in job but even in life also.I have lots of female co workers who just start crying for the small things. I am in a manufacturing unit so for us productivity is the main thing and when a female co worker could not acheive her daily target she is also treated like a male coworker and then starts the problem as males tolerate harsh words from the mentor/supervisor but females just listen and start crying and many of them even leave the job due to this reason. I know supervisors sometimes become harsh and rude but thats part of job because they also have work pressure to acheive targets and when they could not they automatically releases that frustration down the line.

I agree with you on that. But hey it's just natural trait of a women. Womens heart are fragile but not all of us cries over criticism. We just feel like expressing what we feel rather than keeping it all to ourselves.
