There are Some Dear MyLotters Who Make Me Feel At Home

Hi friends and lotters During the stay here, I have made some good friends. A few of these Lotters are quite like my family and home today. I can take anything on at their discussions and I am sure, despite my not-so humorous jokes, not-so informative comments, I can still be myself with them - with a trust and strong belief that even when I sound erratic and stupid, they will not mind and laugh it off. I just wanted to say to all those great friends and lotters - I Love You - and wish that they did post more frequently just because I could find my home and family. What is your experience here when it comes to discussions, friends and family like feeling? I am sure you have a story to share. Cheers, theSids.

Hi godmom So March is going to get me more candies and chocos btw, where is my pack from this trip of yours? I know, I missed that discussion from you and am sure you still have something left in that box (after eating out on the chocos you got for me and also giving the ants their share) This time you were off to a friend. Now what and where in March? Visiting Me?

Hello Sidhu, Unfortunately many of my good friends left from the site and I can't find any motivation here in my free time. As in the long run many topics become repetition for me (am not blaming the starters, it is purely my problem). I have seen that many new active users and they are not my friends yet. Don't you feel missing the old good friends in mylot. I am happy to post for you whenever I am free. Hope you are doing fine and great in health.

Hi didi Good to see your avatar back. I was missing you. There are many lotters who have moved to other places or got busy offline in their real world. That is true and we should accept it as a part of life. Maybe as I mentioned on an earlier discussion - we are not that important to them or they have really something more important going on at their end. The topics too many a times get repeated but then, everyone has a different view to the same thing and that should also be given importance. I am glad that you still have some spare time to spend on mylot and select discussions.

But i think some members of my family is missing on the other hand i wish to say that another some members are ignoring me. But i never worry as new members are fulfilling my family business. Have a nice time.

Hi Shibham, Nobody ignores nobody. If you feel so you too use the same weapon. Why you are worrying for others' favor? What you are you are. Fathom into yourself and all those you felt have ignored would get erased out automatically.

Hi mamu Eyesight issues now. Getting old you know. The members are missing no doubt but then new members keep joining. Yet it becomes difficult to start all over again with a good relation between them... Actually, many newbies dont see the benefits of interacting and conversing... Sad for them that they miss out so much of good things. What is the family business you mention? Is any Lotter a participant in that one too?

Hi di Of course, I know when I have a story or some stories to share, then you are older and aged (ok, here, at MyLot). I have found you for one, a great friend and sister. Even the Sreekala didi here at this box. I wonder how things would have been without us meeting up at MyLot and sharing the discussions.

I have the same feeling. For the most part, here on myloy we get along in pefect harmony. Most of mylotters "live and let live".For example,English isn't my first language, sometimes I misunderstand what other mylotters say in their discussions, but they don't mind ,even some says that they don't put their meaning across very well.To be honest, I am really moved by that.

Hi changjiangzhibin Ever since we have become friends, we have been close to each other. I havent met your family but it does feel that I know you people for so many good times now. This is what MyLot has given us all. The misunderstandings if any between any member do occur but the better aspect is that we all forget and move ahead to a positive goal. As you rightly say - live and let live - There are so many of these great lotters who make you believe in these words and make it a wonderful experience.

Yes,mylotters come from all over the world ,for most of them,we have never had the honour of making their acquaintance and don't even know what their names are, much less their appearances. However here we exchange views and share each other's happiness and sadness, etc. What a great place!

Aawww, you are so sweet. I love you too. It's so cool to be in this one big family, right? Although I do wish that I could post more frequently but due to much work, I am having less time to spend here but I will still make my appearance whenever I can and will always check on you from time to time so that you will not forget me.

Hi Jlyn Hmmmm. A Busy Lady with a Gaming Outfit Great for a Date! ... Still waiting for praaji's flight and the seat next to you dear Okay, kidding apart, I know we all are busy and I am thankful to all who have been around with me for so long and I wonder how they manage time. Personally, I have not much to do and when I have, I always keep peeping in at this site to at least know about what is going on with my so dear friends. And you are on that list. I do have a fond memory of the discussions we shared between us and that helps in continuing...

You all are my extedned family and keep me sane in this odd retirement center with so many whose minds are really different shall we say. I love you all and the times I have not been able to be here have been pretty bleak for me. I have spent this last month staying in bed til 11 just to please the doctors who told me I had] pneumonia and put me on some really strong antibiotics. I am fine again and happy to be all well. also I just got finally my blue star hurray hurray.

Hi ifa I am sure your family and kids take the most essential of your priorities and I do understand that. in fact, I admire you for being so able to handle all of these. . The small time that you do spend here at MyLot, I am sure, I find those moments quite entertaining. I still remember that the first discussion we shared, it was about coffee and date. You did mention that you have a kid of 8 then and who would ask you for a date! I said and even today, I can say so happily, it would be a pleasure to share a mug of coffee with you - there is always so much warmth with you. And trust me, it would be a really good time that we will share.... someday

Hi Chhotu, Likewise there are some mylotters here who are partial, selfish, fanatic, irritating and all. But the good news is that the number is quite small. What you have help up is the same with me too. I do not want to part with those good souls who have stood by me in my thick and thin moment and added fuel to my onward journey. One of them is you. You are a lovable, peace loving, friendly to all kind of myloter but still some take on you and try to pull your leg. That is too much. Some mylotters are there who post too many posts that it becomes difficult to appreciate them. I have already cut off notification from them. Though I do not name them they know themselves.

Oh dear! sorry I missed this one earlier. hi Rajib da There are always so many varieties of people all around. And in the real world we select the ones whom we can identify with. I do the same here. Going by the friends count, I have a limited friend count and even today, I have 150 of them. I dont allow that count to go beyond control just because I know, if I am having too many, I will not be able to be myself. For those who are pulling the leg etc. they are free to do so as it is an open forum - the only thing that I can and do is forget and move ahead. That does make life easy and peaceful. Among all the friends, I have found you a loving friend and now that we are connected beyond MyLot, this is a plus point and something that reflects that we are close to each other.

I love you too! and many more here in myLot. I am not providing the user names, but most people here in myLot gave me an atmosphere of homely feelings. Of course, including you are as one of the pioneer here, I still remember you with your earlier, 1st avatar picture and whenever you come with a topic or when it happend to pass through a word called 'theside', it is you in my mind alongwith your grand father and the memories. Among all the mess around, thing something different used to give some pleasure and peace of mind.... Thank-s

Hi thanks You are one of my oldest friends here and I do remember all the great discussions that we shared those lovely days - we almost started at the same time (though you are my senior) and the memories are quite fresh. The reason - we did share some great chemistry between us and the discussions brought us closer. See, you remember my late grandfather and a few discussions I had about him. That says a lot dear. And this is what I have gained in these days I have been here. I do miss many of the friends from my earlier days. But then this is life and it moves on. Those who care and are close stay with us and those who do not, just remain in fond memories.

True, in this matter, we owe to myLot and we should thank for this simple, but valuable service they giving to the common public. They are simply the connectors, but I think their service should be always appreciated. The only reason why I am not here for a long time is just becuause I am tied up with other works and my home connection is temporarily removed as my residence got shifted to a different place. Though I paid for a new connection (Tikona), the person who collected the mone of Rs 3,308/- did not report it and now he is not tracable. I think I lost the money and for the last 1 month I am upto them to get the issue resolved. Hope you are doing well and better in helath. Best regards, Thank-s

But is great that you are going to celebrate it before and you should. And now I must ask - if your hubby is around, shouldnt be you on a vacation?

Hi flapiz The varying views exist everywhere dont they? And it is we who give our thought, time and patience to understand and also either accept or ignore these varying views. My point - if we can do it in real life... why not here with people who are so very genuine and human... so what if we are away and have an Internet thing in between us? As one of my friends says - "We are humans on either ends".

Aw Sids.. This is really touching. Whenever i am curious about something, i would always put it up here. Things that would always catch my curiosity are entrepeneurship and ebay. The wise ones here like Owlwings, SpiketheLobster and 3Honor are sure bound to reply... When i have questions about life, the warmhearted ones like Stowyk, TheSids, Dwayne, Professor and so many others would speak up. I appreciate everyone who replies to my discussions. There was one topic that i put up here that really raised the roof.. it was so nice to hear everyone's point of view in there. The topic was about a foreigner getting a local lady pregnant and then here comes the baby and other stuff like that... hahaha. There were also topics about religion. I do remember you saying that religion is one of those topics that youd rather not reply on. i just couldnt resist hahahah! I replied to some again! And i sure got a number of more questions from the respondents. hahahaha

Hi Graceekwenx Thanks so much for appreciating and mentioning me with the Greats. I normally avoid religion and politics many a times but as I mention, there are some great friends and when they have a discussion on that subject, I try to join in. Appreciation of anything does have its benefits - always tells me to better it. And also makes me feel closer to the one who appreciated. I believe this is human tendency and we all will perform better when appreciated.

HI, Since the day i interacted in your discussions/ comments, i did find your answers as quite sensible and not funny.... i missed those jokes and humor.. but look forward to. I too find many members who were very active when I joined and they are still in my friends list, don't start either interesting discussions or they are too busy offline /online (other than my lot). For me, in this year, I had offline interaction with two of the lotters and i am very happy with it. Its great to know the actual people whom we know only through discussion here. Look forward to have more interaction... I must say thanks to my lot as through this site i got to know about other writing sites and for the first time i got paid for my online work.... take care and have a great time with your family & friends...

Hi viju Yes, MyLot is a great site no doubt. The interactions here are always wonderful and as I find this is the only place where we have so much variety of discussions (and they are healthy), makes it and its members more dear and close to us. I am happy that you like my odd humor and find it funny. I am trying to learn that art better as someday I want to be a writer too. You mention, you met two lotters! That sound interesting and really great. Hope you had some great time with them. I too met one by the name Professor and I must tell you he is a thorough gentleman. When we met (it was only for a 15 minute period at the railway station), I never felt that I was meeting this person for the very first time in my life. Normally, I dont find myself at home when I meet a person for the very first time (and also the fact that he is almost twice my age) but this experience made me feel - Oh yeah, I can be at home when I meet someone for the very first time

Hi sids!. Good to see the face behind the kind sentiments that has been so supportive of a younger [no, I'm not referring to age ] member of the family [me] with such a plain heart! In spite of being such a nascent kid on the block, I've enjoyed the warmth of a family of kind, loving & supportive people here so I can imagine how deep has been your bond with most of them here!. sids, I admit, it has become a bit harder for me to motivate myself to stay involved with an uncertain phase in my career at a late stage in life. It so happens now that even if am sitting with time at my disposal, I'm unable to collect my thoughts for participating in discussions. I barely manage may be, to start some discussion but I don't like to merely type some topic and default again in responding. I do hope this is temporary and I would be back in my elements sooner than later. I'm not comfortable with this response itself even, being not so sure if it is cogent. But like you say many are kind to you, so have you been too.

hi Pushhyarag Dear, I wear my heart on the shirt. I love people who are honest and there for me when I need them most. I am kind of lucky or blessed (not sure) but somehow, here, I have friends who are more interesting, more friendly than a few in my offline real world. I know, you have been occupied and at this point you are on the stage where you are starting your personal online career. A tough one but I am sure, you would withstand and see it through to find success at the other end.

Hi thesids, as I read the title of your discussion, it made me want to be on your list of mylotters who make you feel at home It is nice to have people whom you can totally relate to or at least feel at home with just like what you said. There are so many people in the mylot community and it is difficult to find a real friend. It is nice when people comment or respond to your discussion but when you see the same people who go to your discussion, it is just heartwarming to find them there. It's like you have friends who are ready to listen to you anytime

Hi girl_thinking Of course dear, you are among those great friends. I am not sure if you have seen this pic - my yearly portrait of MyLot Family - http://www.mylot.com/w/image/2542269.aspx Initially, when I had joined, I did not have this thought that one day, I will have so many friends who would seem like a family. As I grew in age here, I could feel the closeness and it is really a good feeling today. I hope that you too will find some good friends soon.
