you had more money so you could do more for your family? I have committed to staying with my daughter and helping her raise her son. It takes ever cent she and I get to pay the bills and put food on the table. Mylot does help and my article writing. But I wish I had about $500 more a month so we could live alittle better and save for a Summer vacation. I would love to take my grandson to Disneyland and Harry Potter museum. Cami wants to see Los Angelos. I want to go back to New Orleans and make it to Mackinaw Island sometime. Its really hurts sometimes to think that I may never get to do any of these things. Do you ever wish there was a way you could do more? Take a vacation?

I know what you mean. My dad has no health insurance right now and he is due for his PSA test to see if his prostate cancer has returned. I want so badly to be able to get him that test. And my mom's prescriptions are 300 dollars a month, and while that is down from the 600 dollars a month it used to be, I wish I could pay for these things myself. He's about ten years from retiring and I have no idea how he is going to make it. I trust God, but I wish I could take these burdens from them. And it may sound strange, but I wish I could do more for my dog! I wish I could give him a yard and afford to give her a brother or a sister.

Medicaid pays for her doctor visits. I mean they have a copay, but Medicaid covers most of it. She got on disability three months after applying she was so bad. But they just will not cover her prescriptions. Now they say she needs an oxygen machine, and the insurance will cover all of it except 45 dollars a month. But my dad cannot afford an extra 45 dollars a month.

Thank the Gods for medicaid. I got right on Medicare too. I was in bad shape. I was surprised though how quickly it all went through.

This is going to be a slow earnings month for us, so yes, I know how it is. There may be other ways for me to bring in some more income, but I just do not get motivated enough.

I forget where else you write. I am picking up some merchandising to go along with my demo work, but I still prefer online earnings.

Knoji is only one now. Haven't written on it in a while. Am looking for something else. Thought that iwriter was going to be good but I don't know about it. As my other good friend on here says they are all going down hill. She writes alot and just can't make much anymore because all the sites are changing.

I wish I had my college education for the benefit of my family. I was born in a poor family yet I worked hard to be able to work outside my country. We once experienced a good life. But I think all things are temporary so now I am doing all my best to earn income. I have established a small store and even search for online earning opportunities. I want my kids to have the best that they deserve. I don't want them to be like me. That is why I'm doing my best to be a good mother to them.

I think we all want better or different for our children. I don't think all the riches in the world can overplay good family dynamics. Good memories and afew bucks wher eit counts are the simple best life has to offer. And being a good mother is being there for them and teaching them things. Not all $$$$.

I also wish and hope that I could make/ earn more money so that I can save for my parents benefit. Aside from getting enough money so that I can have a real vacation, my primary concern now is to save. I can say that we are blessed to have live not worrying where to get money for our next meal but still I have worries. My parents are the one supporting us and they are getting old, they already have health condition that need maintenance medicine. With the current trend of increasing medical bills, I am afraid that I will never have enough money to be able to provide the quality care they deserve. So, yes i wish I could have more money but doing something about it is better than wishing. I am taking that road now, I do not know if I will succeed but I will do my best. Kudos!

Yes, go to disney is important, harry potter museumis good for children ,Maybe can go to library, or go to farm to see plants. Maybe can also to play some new sport. If you want to earn more money form vocation, maybe you can teach children, or to take care of students. Or apply for government for some scholarship for life. Hopeful you can realise your plan.

hello celticeagle! I have also the same thought as you are. I always wish that I will have more money so that I can help my family. I am currently working now but my salary is not enough. That is why I'm looking for extra jobs which can at least help me gain some money. I am so thankful that I discovered MyLOt. Taking a vacation with your family is fun.I'm always dreaming about that.We usually took vacation with my family when we were still young with my sister. Now that we had grown up,we haven't took vacation as a family due to work and financial constraints.

I wonder if Mylot really knows or understands how much it has touched and helped so many of its members. I have learned of other sites, and how wonderful some folks are all across the world. I know people from all over and value their friendships so much. A little of a vacation right here sometimes.

Hello celticeagle, I too think many times how can I make an extra income. Online earnings are too slow and time consuming. The income is not sufficient to meet the expenditure and kid’s education is become dearer by day by day. We have to postpone or skip many other things to meet the important expenditures. In this situation, earning bit more is a natural wish by us.

Oh sweets, I wish there was something I could recommend for you to make extra money so your wishes could come true. But as I have similar wishes for my own family, until a light bulb goes off in my head, I've got nothin'. lol But you never know...........faith is a powerful thing and sometimes miracles happen.

My meds have gone from $4 to $23.40. And I am now getting last years bill for doctor's visits that I didn't know existed until just afew months ago. If I had known all of this then I would have kept the medicaid help I was getting. I keep forgetting to call medicaid to see if I can get help from them again.

I wish I had more money saved up so that I could not feel so broke. I don't do very much and don't have the money to accomplish my goals because it's feeding myself and paying my cellphone bill mostly. That is about all I get paid for. That is why I am on here to to try to earn a bit more.

I know what you mean. That would be awesome. Going on a family vacation..I haven't been on one of those in years! But then again, you have to factor in how you would be HOME less (I'm assuming 'making more money' means working more), and then you would spend even less time with your family... I guess it's a double-ended sword.

Yes, constantly I wish that for my family and for myself. they are always so stressed and it rubs off on me. I feel like I'm just making it and so are they. Of course there are health woes in the picture too for us all. If only the economy would be better and it would be enough for everyone to have any job they wanted at any time with all the benefits they need. Maybe in a perfect world.

Well I was planning on taking a vacation and go to my Class reunion in July, but due to everything being so expensive, we decided going to Illinois was something we could not really afford at this time. We are still wanting to take the time we have set aside and go do something if we can, but nothing as big as this. Yes, it is hard sometimes when you cannot get away, and so many times I would really Love to be able to do more.

well if i had more money, i would buy a larger (and flatter) house so that my mom could move in and have her own space (she is not in the best of health ) and also my inlaws could move intoo (my fatherin law has altzheimers and my mother in law doesn't drive). then we wouldn't be driving all over the countryside taking them shopping, etc.

Mornin' dear! Life can be such a double-edged sword! And the one thing I have to be "thankful" for ...is that I can STILL work! As this month marks the first month I will be getting both my Canada Pension and my Old Age Pension, I know I don't have to worry that I have a BASE income...BUT I have to figure out what to do about my "work" earnings....BECAUSE IT ALL will be gobbled up in taxes! Both Pensions are NOT enough to live on...so I must supplement with full-time work! Being a home-owner...there is NOT a single extra penny that can be ear-marked for anything...other than HOME REPAIRS! And they, attached to a home..or always costly! I don't WANT a new Deck...I HAVE TO replace the Deck..it is dangerous, that's about 8 grand...A new HOT water heater...A new septic...a new well! OH, yes..I should sell, but the Market is tanked right now..AND I HAVE TO DO all these things to put the house up for Sale, and realize any good profit! For me, there is NO wish list, other than WIN the Lottery..LOL!

Afternoon. Ya, winning the lottery would be peachy wouldn't it? I never bought a house. I have always rented. I just never felt like owning was my cup of tea. I didn't feel I would have the money to keep it up and didn't need more stress where that was concerned. My life has enoungh stress in it. I do hear what your saying about all the repairs just to get a place sellable. Ugh!

All the time my friend. There are a lot of places that I wanted to take my children when they were little but they didn't stay little long enough for me to do it. A blink of the eye and it was too late. It does hurt to want to do things that you think you might not get to do. I wanted to do vacation this year but with gas going up the way it is, I am thinking that is pretty much out. I do hope that I will get to more with my future granddaughter. Maybe I will get to take her places I wanted to take my kids. Or maybe not.

More money can also bring more stress etc so everything in moderation. You can try and save as much as possible and work towards a trip for the family, there are many great deals out there and if your credit i good you can take advantage of many great credit card sign up bonuses that will give you a free trip etc.

Never can save any money. All the money my daughter and I get from SS and my grandson's child support isn't even enough. And the doctor says my grandson needs to have 5 servings of vegetables and fruit each day. We are lucky if he gets one. And what about us? I can't afford to pay on a credit card. You have to pay it back some time. Everything in moderation is a very good rule.
