Maggiepie...Back from the (Almost) Dead (Finally!!!)

Okay, yes, it's I, & I know it's been MONTHS, but I'm still recovering. Looooong story, briefly: my health totally cratered, I spent over a third of a year either in hospitals &/or rehab centers, getting new meds a tracheotomy & a pacemaker in the pacemaker in the process. Those came because my heart slowed to 24 beats per minute at one point.
I lost all my strength & still have very little. Not enuff strength to be on long, but as I said---I'm BACK!!! 
Of course, I now must RElearn how to use MyLot all over again....
I hope this is seen by all concerned. Meanwhile...Happy Thanksgiving, Christmas, NYD, & the rest!

Wow, welcome back! I didn't know you before but it seems you have been through alot. Those health problems are some serious business there. Hoping you are able to stay on top of things and get better and better everyday. I'm sure alot of mylotters will recognize you and have a warm welcome for you as well. God Bless. Happy everything back to you! I just had surgery with a large 10 cm cyst and ovary removed last week and compared to you that was nothing.

Ow! I had a 7 lb one removed when I was 17... don't know what it was in cms but considering that's the average weight of a newborn...

NAIL: Good to meet you! Hope my stamina holds up long enuff to respond to all.
I hear you on that cyst. Had one decades ago that ate an ovary. Took ME months to recover. I understand! And God bless YOU!

Well, welcome back, I'm so sorry to hear that you've been through so much in the last several months. But, then again you are lucky that modern medicine is able to perform so many miracles and you will be able to continue on with your life.
I'm certain that your recovery period is going to be long, but it will be something that is going to happen because you have the support of your mylot family behind you. Here's to hoping that the rest of your recovery is smooth sailing.

You should see the BILL for all that "modern medicine!" LOL!
I think my recovery will likely take me another half a year, at my current rate. Breathing problems are the hardest part. Thanks to God & friends, though, it'll be all right.

Believe it or don't, burdening you was at least as bad to me as my physical difficulties. One more example of why I tell everyone how incredible you are; I KNOW how hard you had it, taking care of so many things. Thanks, too, for the many visits & all the moral support!

I've actually been at home for a lomg time, but too weak to go to computer. A good friend gave Elic & me a laptop!

A true gentleman, is Chip. Used to deliver Meals on Wheels (I no longer qualify), & still comes by average once a week to visit. One of my angels!

Holy Cow!! I noticed you weren't around and would see Elic make mention of you as her client, but I had no idea things were that bad for you!! It really IS a good thing that you're able to be back on, even if briefly. Happy to see you again!

IT'S SOOOOO GOOD TO SEE U ON HERE, LADY. Sorry u have had such a hard time. I'm glad u are better & hope u continue to improve every minute of every day.These old health problems are the pits.I don't think u will have any problem getting back into the mylot groove. Very glad to see you back here! We were told you were ill and I'm glad my prayers were answered and you're back. Be patient with yourself, you'll get stronger as the weeks go by. It's just great you're at home again in your own bed with your own things. Now take care of yourself and pay attention to your health!

I've missed you, too! Bless you for your prayers, hun. Recovery's slow, but ongoing. Have to type sideways here in bed (still too puny to go to/from living room 'puter, so I thank Chip for this itty laptop by bed!)Soooo great to be back!!! Over 5K posts to go thru, but at least I now CAN!

I don't know what I would do without my laptop. I haven't been able to sit at a desk for so long! Nice thing about these laptops is that we can use them in bed. A real Godsend for the bedridden.

I'm so glad you're still with us hon! What an ordeal you had to go through. I'm glad you are getting better. I, myself have been MIA from here for quite a while. But not for anything serious like what you've endured. I decided to go back to college full time, so my class work takes up all of my spare moments. It's still fun though. Keep getting better hon.
