So I am not sure exactly what to say about coming back to mylot, but it really does feel good to log in and see people you haven't "seen" since the "great migration". I have no idea how many people who follow me on mylot are actually still here. I probably should start finding others to follow as well (since I'm not sure how many people[i][/i] I follow are still present). Anyway, anything big happen to you guys over the last couple of years?
I'm sure a lot has happened, even though I have been able to keep up with some mylotters in different ways. I guess the main thing that changed is my mom died. I was on mylot when her dementia started, and she passed away this past May 4th, at the age of fifty-five.
The little girl my sister and brother-in-law adopted is now four years old, and pretty much rules our world even though they live about three hours away from us. Her presence has gotten us through some dark times.

Hi! I am not sure if you remember me, I too have just returned and happy to be back. I am sorry to hear about your mom, I too have lost mine while I was away from here. I am so glad to see your post. Lets stay in touch.

Yay you're back! I heard about your mom and am so sorry to hear that! How's your dad doing?
I think you've stayed caught up with me, even though I left Bubblews awhile back. I'm still just doing what I do... got the pesky kids to raise and they keep me hopping, and you know my oldest just graduated high school, right?

I'm glad they started paying again. I'm really sorry to hear about your mom. That is way too young. My folks are 94 & 96 now. So I know we don't have a lot of time left together. I live with them, which is a challenge at times, but it saves me money and keeps them in their own home. When is life not a challenge? I have no grandkids and miss having kids in my life -- they do have the ability to help see everything through fresh eyes. I'm glad you have that little girl in your life.

Welcome back! It almost feels like a "This is your life" program to see all these old faces which one remembers so well. It's also good to see others joining whose acquaintace one has made in other places since 2013. I almost dare say that this community has actually been more enriched than otherwise by the two year exodus!

Sorry to hear about your mom. Yes, a child can always bring us bright days.
I just came back to mylot today. I'm glad it's started paying again. If I'm not mistaken, I joined mylot since 2015. I was working in office, and now I have married, have two lovely children, and I'm working from home so I can take care of my children now. So, coming back to mylot seems more meaningful and helpful to me now, as I am happy that I can bring some income to my family while not working outside.

i am sorry to hear abour mom's passing. I have made so many friends in here, that it is hard to keep track of them all. I don't remember a lot of them, but I am sure as time poasses, I will start remembering who everyone is. Some stand out and otherss don't so much. I am just glad to be back and continue where I left off.

I remember you from the old myLot so welcome back..plenty of posts and discussions to find us all goofing off and having a wonderful old home week seeing friends return!!

Oh I'm SO glad that you are writing here! There are a few members coming over from the B site, and I am trying to find my place to fit in here. So many members have been inviting and helpful, which goes a long way as I am shy when I am out of my routine. I hope to be able to read more of your posts here!

@AmbiePam Oh no you don't! You are in the classy section too, I so admire you for your positive attitude thru your Mom's illness and how strong you stood by your Dad during her final days and hours and in the months since she passed. They raised you right, and I hope that you have some influence on your niece, our next generation needs to see this kind of strength so that they can match it.

Hello there. I recognize you from 'the old Mylot'. Nice to see you! Hope to see you on discussions in the future.
Kids do seem to grow so fast. My GS was just starting school when I first started on Mylot and he is going into middle school this year.

So sorry to hear about your mom. It sounds as if your niece is keeping everyone busy. I have been jumping around from site to site, Bubblews, ChatAbout, PersonaPaper and then I heard myLot was back and I jumped right back over here.
