I am tired of your suggestions

My box is full and I have only so much time in a day.. if you interact with me I am sure to get to your discussions.. I really don't need those suggestions.. so please I love you .. but don't love me so much as to kill me with your suggestions..

@jstory07 it depends on how many suggestions you get daily. Sometimes I have more than 3 suggestions plus all the notifications. I don't always have time for that.

I seriously think Mylot needs to fix it like bubblews has it. Where you can only suggest other people's discussions and not your own.
I have no problem with suggestions from people who interact with me on mine, I think turn around is fair play. But I think it is down right [b][/b]RUDE when someone who doesn't bother interacting with me on mine, will suggest every post they write. I tend to ignore them.
With all that said, might I make a couple suggestions, without filling your suggestion box??
1.) I think you should suggest this discussion to those you are referencing to, so they get the message.
2.)It's my understanding (and I could be wrong.. perhaps @PhredWreck can verify) that the only people who can suggest to you is the people in which you follow!? Maybe 'unfollow' them?

@TexanTornado Thanks sweetie.. I really didn't want to bring this up.. but I don't want to unfollow or block anyone. I am just asking people to use discretion while using the suggestion button.
Yes, I have to unfollow the person to stop suggestions. Which is why i appeal.

I don't want to be overloaded with a bunch of them by the same person in one day, but I don't mind them if they are used sparingly.
I also don't mind getting those that admin wrote. Sometimes I happen to miss those, so I would appreciate those if they were suggested to me.

I like the suggestions. It gives me more to respond to.
But you do not want them friend?
If so, just delete them.

Yea true, it's a good topic. I like suggestions because you know someone's thinking of you :) They know too that you may like some suggestions, but others not so much. So it's no huge deal, really :)

@sofssu Oh, okay. I thought I did send out suggestions this morning and that you were on the list. I only post once a day so there wouldn't be a lot. I never really thought that some people can get overwhelmed with them. Now, I'm wondering if I should do it or not. Being somewhat new, I don't want to cause any problems.

I have never used the button. I do see that I currently have 114 suggestions at the moment. I wonder if there is a way to clear out the messages.

@sofssu For some reason the x will load for the suggestions but it won't load for the messages and notifications.

I only visit this site once in every two or threedays maybe
They whom respond in my discussion is my top priority in visiting them back
Later, I go to the suggestions
It help me a lot since only 5-7 suggestions in my box and I can see what I have missed

I don't pay attention to the suggestions. I have plenty of them myself. I might check them out one of these days, but for now, I just use the people and explore tabs to find discussions to post to, or I will start my own if Ithink of a good topic to make a discussion from.

I like suggestions once in a while. But I hate those people that suggest every single discussion they start. That is way too annoying.

@fufurinha I have no issues with getting suggestions once in awhile like I have said many times over in this discussion.. but no please not all the discussion you have ever started..

Question: If you go to...settings....notifications....isn't there a way to uncheck the box to stop receiving suggestion notifications?

@howard96h No the only way to stop suggestions is to unfollow the person. I have nothing against people that I want to unfollow them.. But I may not want to get into every discussion they start.

I get so many notifications..right now almost 100 that i need to respond back to so when i start a discussion i suggest to all my Followers..and when i get done with my notifications, those who suggested a discussion to me are the ones i go to of discussions first..usually by then i'm to tired to look for anymore discussions.
.I was looking for someone to see if he posted in Recent and saw yours right now or i wouldn't have probably seen it otherwise..Your Title got me to respond right now

@Rosekitty Thanks for understanding.. I always get back to everyone who comments... because I appreciate their inputs and seek more from them.. its a natural process .. why make it forced with suggesting what I already see.. that is my only point here.. I don't mean to hurt anyone.
