My last few days have been Fun

This has been a fun weekend as yesterday a couple of my kids asked if I wanted to go to Spirit Lake, Iowa to some Tent Sales and Yard Sales. We went and left my house about 10am and arrived home close to 7pm. We did have fun and I couldn't believe all the sales. I only bought a few things as I really didn't need anything just went for fun. We then had lunch at a Sports Bar and it was nice we had some good food and watched some tennis while there. Also stopped at a Mendard's store and the kids ordered some stuff for the house. Saw hundereds of mallards by a stream and I told a picture but it didn't turn out so good and since I am still learning my new cell phone and the camera I am not sure how to crop it yet.

You took this photo Marcy? It is very good. I love it! So happy you had a great day out with kids. It sounds like a great time. I bet you were so tired when you got home too. Its so good to get out of the house!

Sounds like a nice outing with the family. I was busy all weekend with our labor day party, we had family here Friday-Sunday. Today is my only day to relax and then back to work tomorrow. I love taking pictures wherever I go especially when it involves nature.

Ah Blondie, I love taking pictures of nature when I am out and about and do whenever it is safe to do so. It was a nice outing with my family. I bet your labor day party was fun, was it a pot luck?

@Blondie2222 That is always fun when everyone brings a dish makes for a good meal. I would not be able to stay up that late either as I wind down around 9 pm and I am not much of a party person any more either. Sounds like a good time was had by all.

@Marcyaz Yeah we had people bring a dish to pass and byob. Some stayed in tents and others just left. I heard most of the guys stayed up until 430am but I only lasted til 1230am. I'm not much of a party person anymore. But everyone had a good time

I love seeing the mallards and other birds when they are getting ready to fly South for the winter. Sorry you are stuck there but if you would only Open the Door you could get out. hehe

Sounds like a nice day. I haven't been to a yard sale in years. We used to go every week-end. We have a few mallards here. My daughter just went to feed the ducks at the park today. Not mallards though.

I like to go every so often to a yard sale. It is always fun to feed the ducks whatever kind they are.

@Marcyaz Yes, it is fun to look and see what people are trying to sell. The park where the ducks are is very nice. We have lot of parks here.

That sounds like not only a fun day but a relaxing day as well. I like days that go smooth and we get to enjoy the scenery and the food and the sales. It makes one feel good.

There is a great tennis tournament in USA at the moment right? My boyfriend is watching some game and I have watched two of them as well. It sounds like a lovely day, tent sales are nice even if you just go for a walk.

I saw a few minutes of tennis but not sure where it was. Tent sales were fun and there were a lot of them some right next to the other one.

@Marcyaz I watched games from the 2015 US open tennis championship, which is happening now. It's all over the sports channels so maybe you watched a game from this tournament as well. It's exciting to see the best tennis players of the world compete, the games are quick and interesting.

Getty is was a long day and the drive home was about an hour and a half. I was tired when I came home. i think my Iphone has a good camera on it but I am still learning how to use it.

I need to get out and check out some yard sales. I usually by cheap stuff that might look good for photography. I regret once going to a yard sale where this lady had some old antique like blue glass bottles. They were only 25 cents each and I had no cash. Instead of coming back I just left them. I regret it because they would have made for some great photos.

Mr.Marcyaz are the birds shown in this picture a type of ducks? I waant to know that.They are so beautiful unlike in our countries.And of course your photographing is quite good.I think you can start a new career as a creative photograpger.
