In case you didn't notice I have been away. My friend of 60 years and I took a vacation to Ireland that we have been planning since we were children. We spent 3 nights in Dublin, 6 nights in Cavan and then 1 last night in Dublin.
We drove around really enjoying the sights and one we particularly loved was Donegal Bay. I have included a photo.

That was the best thing. Her and I lead such busy lives we seldom have this kind of time to spend together.

This was my fourth visit and I am sure there will be more. I love it too but not as much as England.

@JudyEv These days with the weak Euro it certainly is cheaper than England.

@BelleStarr We loved England too but found it much more expensive. The added attraction of Ireland for us is that our son lives there.

It was such an unexpected surprise to find out just how lovely and untouched by tourism it was.

Oh yes Isabelle, I certainly noticed you'd gone. I'm glad that you enjoyed Ireland, look forward to hearing more about it.
(I came over here because B was having a lot of problems, but I hope they are fixed now. I haven't abandoned it, and am dividing my time between the two sites).

I understand the attraction of B but I am very afraid that they are not able to pay and just stringing everyone along.
