Just joined mylot last night

Well, welcome to you too, Marilyn. Have you been on other similar sites before too? Many of us know each other from Bubblews.

Thanks about the hair cut, I'm wearing it spiked on top when I remember. When winter comes I'll probably let it grow some, but I like it shorter in the summer months.

I've noticed that. More familiar faces here than there are at Blogjob although maybe I just haven't run into them all just yet?

@MarshaMusselman I have seen maybe 7 or 8 at Blogjob. But I don't spend much time socializing there.

@Rollo1 It may end up being a waste of time socializing there since the majority of people/members don't seem to understand how it all works, meaning the interaction side of things. Those there from bubblews do understand, but that's about it.

I've written quite a bit on interaction and I now it's the name of the game so to speak. I've done a lot of that elsewhere and expect that will be the easy part. I have more time to be around come the winter months from January to March than the rest of the year, but we'll see how it goes.

@MarshaMusselman I know what you mean, about not being here, as in the spring and summer, I am outside taking care of the lawn and such. Before to long, I have to think about raking leaves, and I am not looking forward to that at all, but they have to be raked.

@rosekiss I'm the main lawn person at my house since eight years ago when my husband began wearing a prosthetic due to losing his lower leg, (and that's a story in itself). I get one of our employees to mow the lawn unless my daughter does it, but I get to rake the leaves and get rid of the snow in the winter months. I used to do both the front and back yards, but now I mainly do the front yard and let the backyard leaves decompose where they fall. It seems to be helping my grass quite a bit. My neighbors wouldn't appreciate me withholding on the front lawn, so I do that yearly, but I can rake them into the street to have the city gather them together.

@MarshaMusselman Yes, those old myLotters came back here , as i am one of them , so it's a good proof that this site is indeed worth coming back .

I don't know what I expected, but it's somewhat the same as other social writing sites except with this one we have a beginning 'fan' base to begin with from our friends over there. It's pretty easy to manage and get around and figure things out, with a question or two answered by those that have gone before.

@MarshaMusselman A lot of the people I have met and was acquainted with over at Bubblews and came here have the same name and avatars. Oh yes, Janet's is a good place to look for people from B, so would @crazyhorseladycx 's . Have fun.

I've already seen many familiar faces, and there are probably many more here with different names or pictures, so it may take a bit to figure all of them out. I followed some of your conversations on Janet's (@jabo )'s post and maybe another's too.

Yep, already discovered that. Lots of interaction makes a place difficult to stay away from. We had that problem quite a bit before all the changes over at B too.

I was thinking you are DredQ over there? If not, then maybe you are right, otherwise we connected long ago.

@blitzfrick That's okay, I used a few different images over there. Plus my user name was marsha4852 although I've had my actual name on the site since the beginning. But there are a lot of names to keep track of. I think we saw each other much more before you left for a while. Once you came back I looked ou up here and there, but I don't think I ran into you as much, plus I'm busier now.
