You Are Fired!

I'm firing all my frogs outside cause they must be getting lazy on the job. Seems even though i have so many of them and lizards , they aren't doing that great of job getting them skeeters. It has hardly rained and they are still buzzing around. Any ideas for how to grow huge frogs that will terrorize my garden???

Forget the frogs, get spiders. They eat lots of pesky things. Also bats and swallows!

We just cannot find even a single frog here because there are very few green patches left here. You should not throw your frogs and expect them to be super fast, let them enjoy their life being lazy, they will thank you in their hearts to you for your kindness.

I have never heard about somebody growing frogs, although we eat a lot of frogs legs here. Is this one big enough for your garden ?

no such a thingy, . best'cha can do is put out skeeter dunks to prevent the next crop from formin'. ya got massive quantities 'f skeeters 'n i'm still battlin' grasshoppers - jest aint 'nough birds, lizards, frogs, toads, spiders 'n prayin' mantis to tame the beasts . 'n a happy note though, skeeters dislike vanilla fer some reason. put'cha a drop 'f 2 'f vanilla extract in some unscented lotion 'n slather that on. folks'll follow ya 'round coz ya smell like a cookie 'n the skeeters'll leave ya 'lone without toxic sprays.

@Rosekitty those hoppers 've done so much destruction - no rhyme nor reason 's to what they'll mow down next. i'd not known' f the vanilla thingy neither. went on a visit with a dear friend to nebraska many years 'go to see her folks 'n her momma told me 'bout it. i thought it'd attract 'em also - but it didn't

No one idea. Sorry. I hate bugs myself. I did hear that Praying Mantis eats other insects. Maybe getting one of them or trying to catch one would help your garden.

@Rosekitty No, spiders are annoying. They do get in the way. I think the Praying Mantis is the way to go.

Frogs? You might need to get some toads. Toads love bugs and they will live in your garden. They will grow big and fat from eating the the bugs.

@Rosekitty You should get chickens in that case. They will eat your bugs and give you eggs in return. You don't really want to pick up a toad anyway. They like to pee on your hands. No warts come from that. But, it's still a toad peeing on you.

Put in a pond Bernie, that will bring the frogs, trust me we have a koi pond and don't want the frogs, but they still live out there. And its kinda cool to hear the bullfrogs singing.

Bats are the best to eat all those pests. I have bought a bat house to attract them.

One of the guilt that I will carry to my grave is dissection of many frogs and pigeons. They made us do that. Even lizards. The frogs were given chloroform, and cut upon even when they were alive. That is so sad. Back then, it was called education. Now I call it murder.

Frogs and still skeeters? Tell the frogs they'll soon be replaced by bats if they don't snap to it.
