If I could taste this, I bet it would be delicious

It's hard to know what to do when you're really hungry, but you can't taste anything because you've been sick with a cold. Even worse when your choices are limited because Mother Hubbard's cupboard is getting bare since you haven't been to the grocery store recently because you've been sick with a cold. Faced with those problems, I decided to make what The Man would like for breakfast. Sausages and Yorkshire pudding. I thought about sausages and biscuits, but he doesn't like those as well. I thought about making gravy, but I am still not really into extra work. I don't care for sausages that much. Some days, they taste nice. Other days, they just offend my taste buds. Today would be the right time to eat them, but I wasn't interested. So, I had Yorkshire pudding with butter and nutella. I know, weird. I could almost taste it. I think it would have been delicious if I could have tasted it. What is the weirdest thing you've put on your yorkshire pudding? Do you like any other strange food combinations?

Honestly, it doesn't have much flavor unless you use the beef drippings as your oil, but it's a nice, bland sort of ... dang, not sure what it is. Bread-ish thing? Anyway, it's nice with gravy but it is fine with jam, too. It's kind of like a soufflé? I dunno. I have a recipe for it on one of my blogs.

I've never had Yorkshire pudding. I don't really think I have any strange food combinations but I am very particular about certain foods and how they are cooked. For instance, I love scrambled eggs and cheese but I don't like my eggs soft at all. I have to have them hard scrambled.

I don't like undercooked eggs, either, but I like an omelet with cheese.

When any curry is not going down my gullet, I add potatoes (mashed) or use some crisp snacks to make it interesting. Dad laughs, but that is the way I am.

Total headache when I got up, but took ibuprophen. The cold part of it is getting better. I can almost taste now, but not exactly .

I have never made Yorkshire pudding and now you remind me that I have a recipe and I always wanted to try them. I believe that omelette with apricot jam can be considered "strange", but I like it. It's a French recipe (omelette à la confiture).

I have never tried apricot jam on eggs, but I can see how it might be tasty. Crepes are rather eggy and they often have sweet things on top of them.

@Rollo1 Crêpes are good with orange sauce and a tad of orange liquor, omelette does not taste so different from crêpes.
