What a beautiful Service

We had a wonderful service for my grandma. At 9am us family went to say our last goodbye at the funeral home with open casket that was the hard part for us all seeing her like that. But she looked good and we are glad she is at peace. After that we headed for the church for the mass. 101 people showed up for the mass for my grandma. Alot of church friends, family and neighbors etc it was a great mass. They are catholic so it was a bit awkward for us but we handled it well and the service lasted over an hour. After that we went to the cemetery for burial and then headed to the restaurant for a buffet lunch in memory of my grandma. Left there around 2pm then headed to my grandmas house as we all hung out and shared memories of her as we were going thru her stuff. Ended the night at a restauraunt called Jeremiahs which my grandma went to every Thursday night. We had drinks and food and got home about 8pm. So it was a very long day but my grandma would be happy and proud. Now she is with her husband and son in heaven and i'm sure she is having a blast seeing them again. Now it's the time to heal for us and cleaning out her house. It's going to be a long road but we will get thru. Thanks to you all for being here for me I appreciate it. I hope to be back interacting again soon.

@oceantiara thanks and i was informed she's not my great grandma she is my grandma and the grand kids great grandma i got confused. But either way it was a great day all things considering.

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. Losing a loved one is never easy, but just remember what you said about her finally being reunited with her husband and son. My prayers go out to you and your family!
