Quality Time With Grandma!

I am having a wonderful saturdsy night with the company of my beloved grandmother who came to visit me. We are enjoying some good music and she is very happy to be here. She is smothering my children with kisses and hugs and she loves my new apartment. Its been a great weekend so far and we are enjoying our drinks and the good music!

Your kids are lucky there grandma is close enough to visit. You obviously have a close relationship with her from the way you write here.

Sound so great ,I am jealous for that ! For me ,working in Chengdu ,about 2000 km away from my parents and grantparents living in a village in Shandong ,I wanna go back home to see them now !

Nothing is better than spending time with the grandchildren. Even though we are now miles apart, I am very close to my two grandsons. We text and Skype when they are not playing sports or at school.

My grandparents raised me. Good times. I miss them terribly. My two older kids knew them well but the two younger ones didn't get to meet grandpa and they barely remember grandma. Then my mom is too far away and not real big on staying in touch. My dad only spent a little time with them and is now passed. Hubby's parents don't get together for stuff and now his dad is gone. We will definitely be those grandparents that spoil and flood them with hugs and time together. Miss that stuff. So glad you get to spend time with yours. Enjoy!
