What's your healthy way of living?

Each one of us would agree that major part of our day is spent working or I should say earning a living. We all are so engrossed in our work life that we hardly give attention to our body. Due to this we tend to suffer from some health issues very early in life. I have taken this into consideration a year back and now I give due attention to my health. I start my day with a glass full of lemon water which helps me to detoxify whatever junk I had last night. Then I hit a gym and do Pilates as I quite enjoy it. It has helped me to keep myself flexible and in shape. After I come back from my work I do yoga in a quite and comfy room before I go to sleep. Also on weekends I go to my club for Sunday morning swimming or playing table tennis as including physical activity in your regime is also a must. i have observed that this routine has helped me get displined towards my life. What you all do to live a healthy life? Do share below as I would love to inculcate some of them in my routine.

You are into a lot of health maintaining activities. Apart from eating the right kind of food I do a lot of walking around.

i appreciate. your honesty and good to hear that you do atleast one physical activity. If possible try doing atleast 4-5 excercises on a daily basis and trust me that will be more than enough

You will be disappointed with my answer as at this time I am not really living in a healthy way. I am particular about what I eat, though.

It feels great when you look after your health and you can see the results in the way your body and stamina reacts to regular workouts. I start the day with pranayam. That is more because of a sinus problem but its part of the routine now. A few asanas in yoga. In the evening I go to the club grounds inside the campus. Love running and we have lush green cricket fields side by side. Make sure to run a good 3-4 kms in under 12 mins around the ground. Trying to build up stamina so that I can take part in marathons. "Winter is coming" so no more swimming :D

To lead a healthy life, my suggestion first could be thinking positive in everything we do. People tend to do unnecessary things when they have negative thinking. Start the day positive and lead the day in the way you want it. A healthy body comes from a healthy mind too...

I do exercise three days per week with my friends. And we go to the playground every evening. So I think that's enough. Stay active, stay healthy.

Well, right now I ceased eating fatty foods and eat a lot of fruits. I exercise by playing tennis during summer and now that it is getting called, I just do some pushups in the morning.

That's quite an awesome routine you have! I too hit the gym and make sure I have my eggs and lots of water. Junk food is inevitable but if you can reduce the frequency to absolutely minimum, it will do well. Remember- a burger needs 4 hrs of non stop skipping to fully digest. So now you know how costly junk food is health wise.

You have a very healthy regime and if you follow your routine with due diligence it is for sure that you remain physically and mentally fit. I take lemon water early in the morning either with pinch of black salt or honey. Then as per the availability of time I go for a morning walk. When I return in the evening, I go for a stroll before dinner. I try to sleep by 10 pm because I need to get up early in the morning and I do not like sleeping late. I try not to consume junk food and sweets. I take milk without sugar.

I don't really live a healthy life. I don't exercise and I don't eat well. I take my meds and that is about it. I do some bio-feedback when I have anxiety. I have certain thing I do to help myself. I have severe depression with panic attacks. So, I have learned to do certain things to help myself when I get bad.

I agree, a housewife does so many activities in daily life that thay do not require any excercise. My mom does the same and she is fit and healthy.
