I'm Not Ignoring Anyone!

United States
November 4, 2015 11:22am CST
Sometimes life has a way of stepping in, and detouring our path from the norm in which we do. Sometimes it could be something joyful such as a birth, a wedding, vacation, etc. Other times not so joyful such as a death, bad weather, personal issues, etc. My case since Sat. is I been fighting the flu. A flu that I wish would fly away already. I have tried to log in and interact daily, but I can only muster a few minutes at a time. With all that said, I wanted to let ya'll know: For those of you whom I follow, and interact with on a regular basis, I wanted ya'll to know, I am not purposely ignoring you. 'Life' just isn't wanting to cooperate with me at present time. Off now, to get some rest. Will try to check back in soon. (Jeeze I have a lot of catching up to do)

Aww thank you sweetie. I'm doing about 80% better, just can't muster up energy. I think whatever I have is definitely taking a toll on me.

@jaboUK Yes, that it is. I think it has more to do with we seem to be giving it to one another. My son gave it to me, and I gave it to hubby. So the cycle seem to never end.. Thank you.

I was also fighting the flu week before last. Felt nasty and wasn't on here much. Shot a big hole in my goal for the month which didn't make me very happy.

@celticeagle I'm slowly getting there. I can't seem to get rid of the cough or the mucus build up in my throat. (Sorry, I know that is gross)

I can't blame you for taking it easy when you're sick. It's no fun to sit at a computer when you don't feel well.

No, that it doesn't. Especially not when you head is in a fog, and when you move it feels like you have two heads. The sad part is I couldn't seem to think with either.

I can understand. Health first everything later dear. Yes, some of us do start getting worried when a friend is not seen for a while - but we are too happy to see him/her back. Thanks for this update. Have some rest, and do take good care of yourself. Retutn back when you are healthier.

Aww thank you sweetie. I was trying to do my best to make sure I wasn't simply ignoring everyone. But things got the better of me. I have a little energy, so I popped in, to check in and try to get a little caught up. I hope to be back and slowly get back into form tomorrow.

If someone can't be active for whatever reason, an explanation is enough. Some members apologise for their absence. That's taking things too far IMO.

@Rosekitty Yes, I thought it was the flu, and it still might be. It's been 2 weeks now, and still have a cough and a bit of mucus build up. But seems I have no energy. So the energy I do have, I try to come on and catch up with everyone, but I have 2 weeks of house work to do too.

@TexanTornado I hate it when that stupid cough will not leave. I have had one for over a month now, and it just keeps hanging on. It is not bad enough to need to see the doctor, but it will take me by surprise every now and then when I get into a coughing spell as if to say "haha, you can't get rid of me that easily".

@purplealabaster Oh no. That doesn't sound good, but yes, I know what you mean. It doesn't warrant a doctor visit. Just need to go bye-bye. Hopefully you can get rid of yours.

Hummm, I'd have thought vodka too mild to help a cold @TexanTornado but schnapps can be really good, which one did you drink? There are soooooo many. Watt?? Didn't you like my excuses??

@simone10 thank you very much. I never had a flu shot, and I wouldn't have gotten the flu if my son hadn't have given it to me. Sometimes he is just too kind in wanting to share.

We all understand, we all have real life after Mylotting. And when it comes to health I am bit strict and get stressed. I wish your flu fly away , never fly back and knocks your door. Take some rest, if it is not getting cured with home made remedies, it is always advisable to consult a doctor.
