A Review of My First Year On TSU

I have been on TSU since pretty much the start and have just past a full year so thought I would share my thoughts on this alternative social media platform.
I joined TSU because I was fed up with facebook and wanted to see what else was around. Immediately I felt at home and made a number of friends, yes being paid for my content was a nice perk but it was not the main reason I joined the site. As a site and community, TSU is one of the best, I have made some fantastic friends from all over the world and it has really opened my eye's to just what social media is capable of.
TSU champions the support of charities and in my first year I donated every cent I earned to several charities across the site, to me this seemed the right thing to do, after all previously I had been giving my content away for free, so facebook could profit from my unique content, so why not help people in need in stead.
I did have a few month break, not because I had a problem with the site, it was after a good friend died, a friend I made just after starting on TSU and his death hit me hard. For a few months I just needed to be off TSU, and let the loss of a good friend pass.
I have just got back into the swing of things on TSU and it is like I never left, all me friends there welcomed me back with open arms and I am now going to retain the bulk of my future earning to help with the Disney fund. Yes I will still donate some to charity, but it is time to keep some for myself.
So my conclusion about TSU, after a year of trying it out, is that it is an amazingly friendly place, packed full of creative people. This makes it the perfect alternative to facebook or just something a little different from the norm. You get to share in the success of the site and with over 4 million members joining in the first year it is growing at a massive rate.
For me TSU is my social network, it fits me perfectly, although I still venture into facebook and twitter from time to time.

I joined TSU about a year ago but I have not been active. I will think about visiting and reviving my account there

I also really enjoy tsu. It is just fun and there are so many different people to meet that you could never talk to them all. It is also nice how they continue to add things and update the site. But they don't really pay much and can sometimes get a bit spammy if you don't watch who is your friend. I find I am liking myLot Quite aLot more.

I find it is easier to dip in and out of TUS @chance216 as I get far more involved in things here on mylot. On the earning front you are right, mylot pays a lot better.
