Anna @JudyEv If it was browning too much, it is possible that the oven was too warm. The sponge cake is not difficult to make, but baking is critical.

Anna That is often the problem with the sponge cake, it sunk in the middle. Usually this happens because it has been under baked. Never open the oven while it's baking. It's easy to see if it's well baked because it detaches from the mold. Once it's baked, turn off...
