Mama and Papa

I have no idea why, but this morning I was thinking about Mamas and Papas in music. Not the band The Mamas and The Papas, although they were great.
I was thinking about how many songs reference mothers and fathers.
It started out when I was singing "Mama's got a brand new bag" to The Boy, putting a little spin on the James Brown classic Papa's got a brand new bag.
And then I though how often parents show up in songs. There's the old country song "Daddy Sang Bass (Mama sang tenor)" but surprisingly, mom and pop creep into their kids' music more than they should considering that every generation's music is an expression of their rebellion against the older generation.
And so we don't expect to see our parents in our music, because "Your Mama Can't Dance and Your Daddy Can't Rock n' Roll". Even though The Beatles assured us that if we had any questions "Your Mother Should Know". And Mick Jagger offered a "Mother's Little Helper" to keep busy moms active and perky.
Mothers seem to be more prevalent in song than do fathers, but perhaps that is because "Papa was a Rolling Stone"?
Got any mama and papa songs for us?

I cannot think of any songs with Mama's and Papa's mentioned. However, I absolutely love the Mama's and the Papa's. They had some great songs like... "California Dreaming, Monday Monday, and Go Where you Wanna Go, Dancing in the Street, My Girl, and Dream a Little Dream of Me:.

You reminded of a song about a mama, a papa, and their only son! The lyrics of this song (of which title I forgot) is so funny.

Bohemian Rhapsody have the word Mama on it. The song mama by spice girls is already given to you. Boyz 2 men have a song titled " Song for Mama" I remember a very old song titled, "Oh my Papa"
There is a song titled Sleeping Beauty, it is sang by Manuela. That song is from a horror videogames with Zombies but it is a beautiful song about a Mother loving her baby. The word mama is not mentioned in this song but its a good mother related song.
Hey c'est DeadKnight! J'ai fait ce petit montage vidéo-lyrics puisque cette musique me "hanté l'esprit", quelque chose me demander de le faire D: ... Non en ...
