Waiting for UPS

Last week I ordered quite a few items from QVC and Amazon and now the wait begins. Our UPS guy usually doesn't arrive until well after 6:30 pm. I would bet the farm that it will be later than that for the next month.
In my many years of receiving UPS deliveries I've never had a package delivered late, a package not arrive or a package arrive destroyed. We live in the boonies and are the last of the stops. That might make me wonder since we are loaded first and delivered last that our packages might show more wear/damage, but they don't.
I like to give kudos when deserved and UPS deserves many kudos!

Even better using amazon prime and not paying for delivery.

I live in what used to be the out skirts of my town. The UPS comes in the late afternoon and has for years now. I think UPS deserves many kudos now days too. I can set up a pick-up of a package and have it picked up the very next day. I think I receive packages pretty quickly too. That says a lot for UPS but also for the places I buy from as well. They both work hand in hand.

Exactly, if a package is late it's mostly due to the fact the company didn't send it out when they said they did. If I have one to go out (a return) we have to drop it off or pay some crazy amount.

@AbbyGreenhill No UPS in Switzerland, I believe it's not interesting, too small country. The best service is offered by the Swiss Post.

I have had a few problems with package, everything not being there, small damage to the box. I have never had anything major.

When i had my store i got to know the UPS and USPS guys pretty well..it is all up to how they are treated cause if someone treats them horrible, they will take it out on your stuff..plus the older ones are now retiring and they didn't have all these new rules so they delivered faster and were fun to chat with...Now when i see them they always still say hi to me..
So what i am getting at is you must be a very nice person to them and they respect you for that..thanks for that cause that work is back breaking..
