A lady in Carlsbad, California tells the story of a man named Mathew who came to her aid one day. She has two toddler sized children and is a stay-at-home mom. She had gone to Trader Joe's to get a few grocery items. She got up to the check-out and her card was declined. The young man behind her paid her bill and only asked that she do the same for someone else. It was a $200 bill! She went to call him at the fitness center he had told her he worked for two days later and got the manager on the line. She told the manager what a wonderful person she got to work with. A short pause on the other end and the manager said that Mathew had died in a auto accident the day before. That was just the day after he had helped her in the grocery store. She has started a Facebook page in his honor. It has a following of about 10,000 members. Isn't that a touching story?
Jamie-Lynne Knighten wants the world to know the legacy of Matthew Jackson, a man she barely knew. Their only encounter was brief, about five minutes in a grocery store on Nov. 10. But what happene...

Oh my, what a terrible story. The last act he made was an act of kindness, this young man must be remembered.

I saw this on facebook and was very touched by it. It is very sad and I know she feels blessed to have only known him for a very short while.

Wow, that is amazing enough that he did such a kindness. Even more so since it was one of the last things he did.

Why do all the good ones die young or have something happen to them?
