Pancakes Favorite

Dave has a new favorite meal for breakfast or dinner. A few weeks ago he requested pancakes. I have yet to find my baking mixes in one of the packed boxes from moving so I went online and searched. I found an easy recipe from Martha Stewart. Dave was hooked. He requested this scratch recipe again this morning. He even had warmed maple syrup.

We have pancakes quite regularly but we make up a mix from scratch. We might fill them with savoury stuff as a first course or with fruit as a sweet with ice-cream. Anyway you have pancakes they're delicious.

That used to be his favorite pancake. However, scratch tastes better and is cheaper.

@irenen1 For me that is scratch! I am not a baker and don't keep things like baking powder, etc.

I wish I liked pancakes but I prefer waffles. For some reason, pancakes seem heavier in my stomach than waffles.

I add more milk to make a thinner batter hence a thinner pancake. Again, that's how Dave loves them.

I love pancakes but not ver breakfast I love them with sugar and lemon and maybe chocolate spread yummy x

I never tried it from scracth, just the aunt jamaima brand. The buttermilk pankcakes are my favorite

I hate pancakes, and I bet I'm the only person on Mother Earth who does. Weird I know I have never liked them.
