Sad tale of Brittany Murphy...

On the Reelz channel on cable they have a show that I can't remember the name of but it about stars that have passed like Marilyn Monroe, Michael Jackson and such. What happened to them, what all was in their blood stream, etc. This Brittany Murphy was a actress who died in 2009 of drug intoxication, pneumonia and anemia. After watching this show I felt so badly. They said that at the time of her death she was living in this house that was full of mold. They said that part of her problem could have been from the mold. Her boyfriend, who was living there with her, also had the same sickness she did when she died. Can you imagine? Living in this house that is actually killing you? Ugh!

I can actually, our last home had black mold, we fought what we could until we were able to move, but what you can see on that stuff is often only the tip of what is there.

@celticeagle I hated that place mold or not, but if I really loved a place I might have felt different I guess

@Jessicalynnt ...Yes, and if you hadn't experienced the mold before how would you know or even believe that was what was making you sick?

That is so sad. It could have been prevented.

I felt the same way. And her being a star and being sort of funny about stuff nothing was done.

Poor young woman, how sad nobody suggested her to do something for the mold.

I don't think they realized the problem until it was too late. And they lived in the dark most of the time so probably didn't see any of it.

I am sure there are thousands of people living in similar circumstances and not through choice sadly.

Yes, I agree. It is a crime.

That could of been a factor of her weak immune system and sickness combined
