I want both

Whenever I post a link and a picture in my posts, myLot chooses the link and does not upload my image. It reduces the impact if the image is missing. I really do not know why myLot cannot let us have both these features to add spice to our posts. @myLotBugs Are you listening?

It'll take a little time but you'll soon be a pro.

Maybe it is a problem with the amount of data this uses, or some such thing?

Facebook have that problem too before. Now you can post a link and a picture at the same time.

@allknowing @LadyDuck This isn't really a glitch. Just the way it was built at the time. We'll keep your suggestion in mind though for a future upgrade. Thanks!

I haven't tried to do both a link and a photo, but I've read of others finding the same as you. I see you have a reply from Bugs - it's good that they listen, isn't it?

This is one site where Admin is alive and kicking. I love it that way.

@jaboUK And so too another place where Admin talks about them having personal problems and that has resulted in many leaving that site.

I've never tried to do both, allknowing, so I have no firsthand experience with this problem. It does seem odd that you are supposed to choose between the two when allowing both would be just as easy. I do see you brought Bug's attention to this matter, though. Has he given you any kind of response on this?

Where are you getting your images from? I've never uploaded one here so I'm not sure what the preferred image libraries might be.

Many are from my own collection. Some I upload from downloading wikimedia commons images which are released to the public domain and can be used here. You are expected to add that link to your image though, in the space provided.

I agree with you on this. I've tried to do both and it won't happen. I think if we comment on our own post and add one or the other it might work. I will try it next time to see...

But that link will not be seen by anyone except the one on whose response we would have commented and placed dthat link. .

@allknowing After reading your comment to rebelann, I am curious about something. (Unfortunately, I do not add links in my posts, so I cannot try this. so I will tell you and possibly you could try it if you think it has merit?) What if you added the link with the beginning post and then made sure you are the first respondent and place the picture there? would that work? I am not sure if it would or not.

@allknowing Often I scan the comments on others posts to see what is said or left on comments but I do understand what you are saying, it would be nice to post both together.
