The Downown Square will come alive tonight.
It promises to be a full night of music, wagon rides, carolers, Christmas shopping and much more. It all starts at 4 p.m. and runs until around 7 p.m.
Stores in and around the downtown area will be open until at least 7 p.m. with all kinds of specials and promotions.
The event is organized by the a group, which is leading an effort to revitalize the downtown area.
One of the highlights of Christmas by Candlelight will be the downtown horse and wagon ride there will also be storytelling.
Carolers and Santa will be found bringing life to the Square and the Courthouse will be open, where Christmas songs will be heard from a piano in the Courthouse rotunda.
In addition, the downtown movie theater will be playing a variety of short Christmas films. Guests can pop in any time and see those at no charge.

That is awesome! Our church has a candle light service on Christmas Eve. I can't go. It's been about 5 years since I have been to one.
