@JudyEv Yes they are. I did a limerick post once and we had a lot of fun on it. I posted a few of them I had written. We went back and forth forever on this one. One you get the hang of it they are so simple and fun to write. I use to do a lot more than I do now. I guess no more time to sit and write them. But here it is fun and it is good to do a few on the site to make people laugh. BTW added one below. You might find it buried in all of your comments later on. I laugh when I read them. Had to read all of them here. They are really good.

I have been reading the word "limerick", but I had totally no idea what it is, until I searched for it just now. I never thought it's a type of poetry.

You should think about having a try. The important part is the rhythm of each line and the number of stresses. I hope you'll have a go. It's great fun.

Good limerick! The last line would scan better as "They really are becoming a pain!

" I am sure it will be taken in the spirit in which it is intended.
