He did not even remember

Hubby did not remember telling me he thought I should come with him today.I tried to get him to stay home but he said he could not change out his schedule to do so. I sat outside in the truck a while then shopped a while. We went and got a burger then hubby dropped me here at the library. He went back to work. Honestly, I am sleepy. I need to do more here, but will not be doing so. I am going to put the computer away, pick up a magazine, and snooze in a chair for a while. It is a different crowd here in the library today. I will have to come in for an appointment tomorrow and then we have a long weekend. After the first of the year I look forward to things becoming more normal. Hah!

We have a homeless lady in our community. I think she also hangs out at some of the churches, but she was in today and rested in a comfortable chair and read books.

Is this the one you had trouble with earlier this year as well, or am I confused?

I know what you mean when you said waiting until things get back to normal. It seems like everyone is still in the holiday mode and thus at work, some of the people that I need to do some stuff with are taking their time or simply cannot be bothered. I do not blame them though - I would very much like to stay at home as well and do some stuff that I know I will not be able to finish in time for birthday parties, new year parties and what not. But since I do not have vacation yet, being a new hire and all, I have to make do without and cross my fingers that I will be able to keep my sanity before the year ends.

@Raine38 that can be very frustrated. I would like to work maybe two days a week, but right now I do not, I just take care of hubby and my sister sometimes.

Not yet, but maybe in a week or two, although I seriously doubt it will ever be "normal."

Normal? I just rolled my eyes. Normal for me is everchanging. I need to go with the flow.

That is the truth as just when you get used to something it does change, not always for the better.

'Normal' is sometimes really something to long for, isn't it?

@GardenGerty my normal is running around the school, standing in front of the classroom trying to teach, and coming home to work some more. I'm not so sure I'm looking forward to getting back to normal.

Did you say you teach kindergarten, or is that another friend of mine. High energy whatever the age.
