A Belated (and then some) Happy New Year All!

I know, late as usual, but a Very belated Happy New Year to everyone! I had a full New Year long weekend. Old year into New Year, the gated community I live in had a "bring and braai" , "braai" is barbecue. We are 24 Townhouses with our own gardens in the gated community. Everyone brought their own meat to be barbecued, and salads, and snacks and drinks. We packed out chairs in the parking area of the community, a large barbecue was lit, one of the townhouses supplied music and the wait for the countdown to the New Year began. We were all still awake at 3am on 1st January! So, after going grocery shopping, I just tried to catch up on sleep. Saturday and Sunday was between baking cupcakes, and more braai's for me, if I see barbecued steak, chops or chicken again I might faint, I will be eating fruits and salads for the next few days! Well, 2016 is already in full swing, being four days into it, but I only count this first Monday, because it was all partying this weekend past. What did everyone do this long weekend? I hope we will all have a successful, blessed, healthy and happy 2016! Now, I am off to see what everyone here has been up to! Have an awesome week all!

@bluesa I am also back to my daily 30 minute workout and daily brisk walking. I was unable to do these for a couple of days.

Thank you, Janet! You too @jaboUK ! It was, and all we had to do afterwards was put our chairs over the wall in our garden again and walk around the wall to get home. :-)

I had fun on New Year's day sure, with my family I went outside to celebrate, with a film and lunch. On the 31st, after I had given my last theory exam, I went with all my friends to a friend's house where we spent the evening, so all in all, not bad at all!
