What Did The Doctor Find?

I got to the doctors office a little early hoping to beat the crowd. I did. I was second in the door, they open at noon. The doctor looked at me and asked me about the hormones and how was I feeling. I relied that I am back to normal, see the pharmacy changed it and did not ask me because it was cheaper, the doctor changed it back. Next he asked about the diabetes and I told him " How can you ask me that and Christmas just passed?" He smiled and said" we`ll skip the A1C test and come back in two month for that." He asked " are you sick?" I told him no just the same problems with my ear. This time he said it is red and I do have fluid behind both. Then he asked did I want free medication? Heck yeah I said. He told me he was changing my pharmacy and to go get my free diabetes meds and if the antibiotic aren`t free they will be dirt cheap. AND I got a free tetanus shot, good for another ten years. So today was a good day to go to the doctor.

Our doctor always check if the medicines are covered by the medical insurance, so that we have nothing to pay.

@Marilynda1225 Absolutely, but my pharmacist also check and if needed he changes the medicine with something similar but covered by the insurance.

@ladyduck it's disturbing when a doctor doesn't check and you get a hefty bill to pay at the pharmacy.

@andriaperry You remember my name! But my real name is Happy as that is the exact translation into English of my Italian name on my birth certificate.

It is nice that your doctor is so helpful. Our doctor will only see you for the reasons you book your appointment for, otherwise he isn't paid for the rest and tells you to make another appointment.

Mine was a diabetes check up but if I have any pain or problems he will help and he knows I am not wanting anything for pain but a solution to the problem.

It sounds like an overall good doctors visit, so nice for the doctor to do this for you. Hope the antibiotics were free too or at least not too expensive.

It's always nice to come from a doctor visit feeling good especially when you can get a good report and some free medication. I used to have a doctor that would give me thyroid pills when I visited so I wouldn't have to purchase them.

It sounds as though you have a very good, caring, and wonderful doctor who stays on top of things. Our insurances pick up the cost of all brand name meds, except for a small Doctor visit co-pay.

To visit a doctor and come back relaxed should be the way - we worry about what is lurking inside us! siva

You are so right! Ya know I did not go to a doctor for more than five years after having cancer :) till I felt sick and it was diabetes and I do believe its caused by the imbalance of the rest of my hormones.

@andriaperry In a way, I opt for the best pharmacy to help out - our body, as it has lots of self-balancing capabilities like nature. When we tinker with it then the whole trouble starts, and one should be lucky to find the right doctor too - siva
