Cold, cold, cold Day here! / myLot

It was a very cold morning today, it was 13 degrees F.(app. -10 C.) when I got up around 6:30 eastern, but it felt like 5 degrees F. (-15 C.)....Brrrrr I know I am staying inside until it warms up a little by this afternoon. It is suppose to get to 36 F. (app. 2 C.) by early afternoon. We were suppose to get some snow showers last night, but thank god all we got is frost. The Sun is shining right now, which makes me feel good. I am going to do a little more reading and then get off mylot, but will be back later to interact some more. Have a wonderful day.

It was very cold this morning, now I see the sun coming out, but the temperature is still very low.

It is still cold here too, it's 22 F. (app. -5 C.) right now, that is too cold for me to venture outside.

It is in the single digits F here, can you believe that? Brrrr is all that I can say. But the sun is supposed to come out which will make everyone feel better.

@gr8nana6 No, that sunshine did nothing but warm up people's spirits, not the temperatures. When I left work at 8:45, it was -7C, which is 7 below freezing.

Yes,we have our first cold day here.Woke up with .6 degrees,Wind chill -8 below this is our first. But it is bright and sunny.

We are at the daytime high of -10 Celsius (sorry don't know that in degrees F). I am staying inside with a hot cup of coffee and shall be preparing my manuscript for submission today. That should keep my mind off the cold.

It was 21 when I got up at 5:30, going to 44. It's cold all over the everything east of the Mississippi!

That is cold for the south. I remember that I was freezing like crazy when the temp went down to 50 in Florida, lol.

It definitely was a cold morning but the sun all day made it feel a bit warmer. I didn't even go out to get the mail today...I stayed inside, nice and warm

It's frigid cold here in Kentucky too and we saw a little snow but it didn't hang around long. I noticed you were from Hamilton, Ohio. I was born there!

That is really cold! It was 27F when I got up at 5:30 this morning. It is 30F now, at almost 9:00am. It is cloudy and the wind is blowing which makes it feel so much colder. I don't think I have anything I have to go out for today, so I am going to have hubby start a fire in the fireplace and "hover" in front of it today!
