Online Shopping

There are times that I prefer shopping online. For one thing, it saves gas. I can do it wearing my PJs without sending anybody running in the opposite direction. And I can "visit" multiple stores and compare prices and deals very fast. There are times that we cannot find the item that we were looking for in stores that we have to rely to good old Amazon or eBay or the store's website. I do not like waiting for it to be shipped though, but I guess that is one of its downside. We cannot enjoy what we purchased the moment we parted with our money. Do you like online shopping?

My town does not have shoes that will fit my feet so I take a chance and buy them on line. We also buy items like peanuts for peanut butter making and bulk baking yeast.

Now that you mention it, I also find it hard to find shoes that fit me in most stores. I wear a size 5, 5.5 is pushing it and if I were to wear thick socks. So my best bet will be online.

@sallypup I know what you mean. Once I thought that since I have small feet, I can go for the kids shoes as my size will be available there. Turns out that kids' shoes do not have the arch, they're so flat that it hurts to walk in them.

I do a lot of online shopping, mostly for the non perishable foods I eat. It's not just easy on gas but also my time and frustration. I've always hated waiting in line to pay for a few items then having to listen to kids screamin and hollerin while their parents are busy chatin on their cell phones.

Walmart is notorious for having such environment. I do not blame the kids, they're just being kids and are getting bored. I know their parents are also having a hard time as it is, but you we are also entitled to a pleasant shopping experience.

The parents I see all too often are ignoring their kids in favor of their cell phones @Raine38 that I do not understand. It is a parents job to watch over and discipline their children. Just like it's my job to watch over and discipline my pets when needs be.

@Raine38 Sometimes it could be worth it for the deals.

I've done it a few times. Last year I've ordered clothes from Sears twice. Two years ago, one time from Target. I might do some this year.

Most of my clothes are bought online because I always get to reach before their cut off on sales. If I were to find time to physically go to the store, I will not make it to their discount period because I am not always available to just up and go out of town.

I do like shopping online. I only wish I didn't have to worry about anyone stealing my delivery.

Speaking of stealing, online shopping also opens your identity to theft. But then identity theft can happen anywhere you transact but the risks are greater online. We must be careful that the website we are on is the legit one.

I have shopped online for Christmas the last 3 years. I love it coming to my front porch.

I do not do much online shopping. The delivery always happens during office hour, and nobody is home to pick up the item. The online shops are not selling things cheaper than offline shops. I like to touch the physical item before I pay for it.

I love online shopping especially when there is free shipping involved. I am a huge sucker when it comes to free shipping with no minimum purchase! But there are some occasions where if the deal is incredible that I can't resist (like recently at Victoria's Secret) - I surely paid for the shipping cost. My packages just shipped today and I am tracking the packages like a hawk! I sure love shopping but I hate the wait also!

I am the same. And since most stores that I shop online to do not have a local one here, I just think that the shipping which is not too bad is what we would have paid for gas had we drove to the store in another town. But it's still cheaper than actually paying for gas back and forth.

@Raine38 And usually I find online deals better than in store. No need to drive, look for parking, deal with lines! But don't get me wrong ~ I do enjoy shopping in stores also! (Hehe)

99% of my shopping I do online these days. It's so easy and I hate shopping in real stores. Online really spoiled me..no crowds, no parking issues, and no running from store to store to see who has the best price.
