Let me tell you about my day

I got online this morning, ready to be here and interact. The internet went out. . . here, and in the next town over, and the next and the next. What to do? Stuff. The internet came back on. I had repeated phone calls on my cell which is not connected to my internet, but is prepaid. All five calls were from a number I did not know, so I did not answer it. I looked it up. It seems that the area code given does not exist in Canada or the US. I guess I should do an international search next. That would sure eat my tracfone minutes. My sister called. She wanted me to locate a particular color of yarn the local Wal Mart did not have. Turns out it was out of stock in the warehouse. I cannot even get it for her site to store. I think that took three phone calls. I look out my front window and the man from the gas company is shutting off service to half the house. I have not had the money to have the meters connected yet. Although I had notified them to send both bills here, they had been sending them to the man who owned this property two owners ago, if you count me. So we had to take the time to get all the pilot lights on that side re lit. Hubby called, we decided to drive to another town and eat. It was good, and then we were going to go to the Wal Mart there. Could not find it. Got back on the road to come home and accidentally got on the toll road--with very few exits. So, here I am. I will try to get some more visiting in tomorrow.

One never knows what the day will bring GG and it certainly sounds like you had an extra stressful day dear friend. I am glad now you are able to get on here and tell us about it. Busy, busy day for you fraught with little aggravations. Big hugs xoeven tho the hugs is little on here.

Yes, but the hugs are big in meaning. I have my share of problems, but I have a friend who has had it worse, but it is not my problem to talk about. She and I talked about that problem online in between everythig else.

What is happening? Two nights ago we lost the Internet about 30 seconds before the end of a Netflix program (just at the final plot twist. I headed to bed and fortunately in the morning everything was okay.

Those odd calls with odd area codes, I never answer. We have caller ID and it is amazing how some days more of those calls will try and call than other days.

A day of annoyances it sounds like. We had a big ordeal with the electric company when we moved here. I am still mad at them as I am sure we and the previous owner were paying power bills for a few months. Only he stopped paying his after a couple of months (and rightly so, he must have been paid up). And he brought them to us. I could not get it straightened out after several frustrating phone calls. I want to get a different power company but I still haven't checked how to go about it.

You reminded me that I have to buy the new ticket for the Toll Road, it's going to expire at the end of the month and if we enter accidentally without the ticket, we are fined.

Yesterday was a busy day for me too. I went to Walmart to get my pills, and went to the grocery store. I finally mailed my mother's birthday card and got the mail. I also cleaned the parts of the vacuum out, then I did some zumba. Today is going to be a slower day thank goodness.
