I Think I Should Get Dressed

I am still in my nightgown and it is nearly noon. I don't even have my robe on over it. I had to make The Boy something substantial for breakfast as he needed both his brain and his brawn for school today since he has new subjects and gym class. I had to make myself some baked nutmeg donuts because I don't need either of those things, usually. Then I blogged about the donuts. That's the last blog that needed updating this week. I have managed to blog at least once on all six of my blogs in the last few days. Phew! And for the last two hours I have been fighting with the tax website (doing The Girl's taxes and she has no record of her password, etc) and talking on the phone with The Brother about the results of his ECG. And I am still in my nightgown. But UPS is coming with a package, so I think I had better get dressed. About 50% of the time they follow instructions and bring the package to the door instead of leaving it out on the porch to be stolen. It's not that I need to impress the UPS guy, but I don't want to traumatize him, either. I think I should get dressed now.

Go get dressed, or you will hear the UPS guy coming the right moment you are fully undressed.

Why do things always seem to happen that way?

I usually am dressed and out the door to walk or ride my bike, but enjoy a nightgown day on a rainy day.

I find that I am less productive in my nightclothes, but some days it is just too tempting to stay comfy.

He came but he didn't come to the door, so I got dressed for nothing.

Sounds like you've been pretty productive this morning, even though you weren't dressed yet.

You have had a busy morning for certain. We have had contractors starting at 8:30 AM for two days now installing new toilets and countertops in the bathrooms, have been up and dressed bright and early.

I hate having to be dressed because the house is full of noisy strangers.

If you are fully dressed when the UPS driver arrives he will probably be very disappointed and not bother to deliver any more packages in the future.

I am afraid those days are over, but many years ago, when I was young and charming... Suddenly, I feel like singing.

I get dressed first thing in the morning after I have been here for a while and have had my cup of tea. That makes me feel good. By the time you read thi you must be fully dressed and ready for the day.

I fell off mylot and didn't get back until just now. I think I accomplish more if I get dressed, but some mornings it just doesn't work out that way.

You have SIX blogs you write on?!!! That is mind boggling. I'd get so confused.

Once, when I wrote for a blog network, my husband and I wrote 13 blogs between us. But the days of making actual money blogging are over. I need six because I am too scattered and all my stuff won't work in one blog or fall under one topic.

I wish I could stay in my pj's in the mornings but with two dogs that need to go out early in the morning, I have to get dressed pretty early.

This is why I didn't enjoy having a dog when my daughter was young. I had to take him out early early in the cold bitter morning.

@Rollo1 Yeah, it's not fun to have to do that. And since we live in an apartment, I have to get dressed because it seems like there is always someone outside. At least in a house, no one can see you in the back yard.

Every once in awhile someone comes to the door. I feel like I have to get dressed earlier than I would like.

I hate people at my door. It's like a horror movie scene to me. A knock at the door, the door opens slowly and then a bloodcurdling scream!

@Rollo1 At least where I live they don't come too often. There are advantages to living on top of a high hill.

I have decided if I am wearing my comfy bra and my hair is combed I am dressed in "home clothes" even if some might call them pajamas.

I am sure I dressed between this post and this morning, it's five days. Obviously, dressed or not, I am lazy.

Definitely fattening, but a nice treat. The donuts, I mean. Not the nightgown.

Realizing that my neighbour is likely to drop by is incentive enough for me to get dressed. I love those days, though, when you can just work in your pj's.

We have to sign for most of our deliveries so being dressed is important in my house. When hubby leaves for the gym, it's time to get dressed. You were a busy woman...got a lot done while in you night gown
