Would Your Care for Smoothie, or Coffee, or Softdrinks?

I can't really last a day without drinking fresh fruit juice or smoothie. This is why my juicer and blender can't rest even for a day. This morning I made melon and watermelon smoothie. It was so refreshing! Tomorrow i am making soursop smoothie. Soursop is Guyabano in our native tongue. I love the perfect creamy, sweet and a bit sour taste of this fruit. It also has lots of healthy and medicinal value that I would not want to miss. Do you care for fresh fruit juice/smoothie too or you like softdrinks or coffee more?

@salonga I cannot stand the taste of the soda, I drink plain water when I am thirsty.

@salonga we all know soda is bad for you. But I know some people that's all they drink.

Smoothies and juices have too much sugar for my health. I know it is natural sugar, but eating the whole fruit is still healthier for me. I always have my fresh cup of coffee, and usually a piece of fruit. I do need something to eat early.

I understand, fructose or natural sugar is not beneficial if taken in large quantity if you have issues with your blood sugar level.

@GardenGerty I'm curious as to why eating the whole fruit is healthier. Or do you mean you'd strain out the fibre? I've been blending the whole lot.

@salonga I just noticed your picture. I know what watermelon is but what is that green fruit? Is it something like a durian? How big is it?

I like smoothies the best, although I do need to use my Ninja more than I do. I put the frozen bagged fruits at Walmart, along with bananas. I also put part water and the rest juice as that really flavors it up. I know that smoothies are better for me than soda pop, that is for sure.

@salonga They really do. I put a banana in it to sweeten it up a bit, or otherwsie it won't be all that sweet. I put bluberries, in everyone, and the other fruits I change from time to time. I will probably go get some more fruit tomorrow. I love the smoothies as the are so good and healthy.

@salonga I bought a plastic container a bit like a glass so I can freeze what I can't drink. It makes too much for me to drink at one go. I just blended an apple, banana, carrot and broccoli but it is way too much.

Have you tried to add yogurt or milk to papaya juice? I loved it a lot when I was schooling. It was great to have a glass of iced papaya milk when I felt very sleepy in the afternoon.

No sugar added for sure because that will not be all natural anymore. The natural sweetness of the fruits are enough to gratify. mMango smoothies taste so divine.

For me, it's tea and fruit juices and smoothies. Soft is missing a T in your post title, though. I do soft drinks in moderation. I also drink plenty of vitamin water too.
