~Wanted To Show You Our Home~

Our Home
Valdosta, Georgia
February 4, 2016 1:05pm CST
So you have heard about us moving into our home so I thought you might want to see a couple pictures of it. It is small but it will work and I am glad we are in our own place. =) Don't mind the color of the outside, my husband is going to paint it a more neutral color when we have the money. In the comments I will add a couple more pictures of the inside too. Its not decorated or anything yet since yesterday after the hospital is the first night we slept here. It will take some time but we will get there.

It doesn't look that small by English standards, it looks fine to me. I hope you settle in well.

How awesome if your landlord will let you repaint it! I'd love to do some of our rooms, but I don't know if ours would be thrilled with the idea.

@Yukimori Yeah he said we can repaint, my husband owned a remodeling company for 11 years so I think that's why he said it was okay.

It looks like a very nice home. Know that a home of your own is always a work in progress. We've been in our home 22 years and there is always something to be worked on, painted, or redone. The more you do, though, the more it becomes YOUR HOME.

it is not small at all believe me. It does not matter for the exterior, you can always do that when you have extra money. I saw some pictures of the interior. Nice and clean. It actually look pretty and presentable. I hope you will post another picture when you are able to decorate it for sure it will be much much adorable.

That looks a lovely house. And I don't really mind the colour either but it's always nice to put your own stamp on a house.

Nice house and a nice home, don't rush it, just take things one at a time, it's not the size, paint or furniture that makes a house beautiful, it's the love and caring inside is what is important and i really do believe that all the nice material things would follow later.

@LovingMyBabies The house doesn't look all that small from the picture. However, the smaller it is the less you have to clean.

Take plenty of time to rest. I've moved with a tiny baby. It was exhausting. As to size, we built a six bedroom home for our family of seven. Then my mother inlaw moved into our home, then our oldest daughter married and moved out. Two others went off to university and were home every other weekend. Then without actually losing and people we moved into a two bedroom home...with no basement. We made it work.
