Ancient Egypt is probably one of the historical subjects that I could care less about. I know they made a lot of advances for their time, and their beliefs and lifestyle is still heavily researched today but I guess you could say I am over it.
I've heard about it so much that it doesn't really interest me anymore. Any part of history that you just don't really care about?

not really, I like to learn anything
Anyway I've only responded because you've said "could care less"
That's a very American saying that I've never understood.
Here we say couldn't care less but loads of Americans say could care less which implies you could care less whereas the UK couldn't care less means we couldn't care less
I just wondered if you've ever noticed the different sayings?
Truthfully I don't actually care much about history not connected to the UK
we've owned loads of the world though

I've also said "could've" cared less which is the complete opposite. "Could care less" DOES mean "Couldn't care less" to me. I don't know why,or how it came about that we say it differently.
I'm not really a fan of my own American History. I appreciate the architecture of colonial times, and the Confederate war somewhat interests me but otherwise I don't really care for it.
Anything else, including other wars (of which there are many) have no interest to me.

@Mike197602 Probably so but I'd want a signature stating you wouldn't try to come home

@ScribbledAdNauseum I think if we could swap countries we'd both get a good deal

My niece, her husband and four children live in Luxor so I have a more personal interest in Egypt I guess. I don't know that I care about any history all that much although when I'm somewhere looking at buildings etc then I become more interested.

History is only something I have come to appreciate in recent years. The history of buildings can be especially interesting to me, especially if they've withstanded the test of time for many centuries.

@ScribbledAdNauseum Some old buildings have had so many 'lives' as this, that and the other. I find that interesting.

@JudyEv It makes me happy when buildings are re-used instead of torn down. It seems here in the States all they want to do is tear the building down. We have so many empty buildings that aren't even 10 years old. Instead of fixing them up and reusing them they build another down the street. It's disheartening.
I love to see the architecture of older homes, and especially if they are set up as a living museum of the life of people in that time.

I heard about it so much from a family member a few years ago that I just can't be bothered to watch anything about it anymore.

I havent' watched the history channel in quite some time but every time I turned it on it was about the pawn shops or american pickers. Nothing much historical.

I love Egyptology. I find them fascinating people. The inventions are astounding. Brain surgery and the battery to name a few.

I heard about it quite alot a few years ago when my uncle went through a kick on it. Since then I've just couldn't care less about it. He always seemed to be on and on about the pyramids and hieroglyphs, it really took the interest out of it for me.

American Presidents, Ottoman empire, History of sports. I just don't find those topics interesting at all. When it comes to History I like topics about Colonial Southeast Asia, Pre-colonial South east Asia, Japan,The New world,The Soviet Union and Roman Empire.

I can't find myself interested in the Presidents of the US either and here I am a citizen of it! Sports do not interest me either way so I agree with you on that. The Roman Empire interested me somewhat but I have not looked it up in quite some time.
As for any kind of Asian history? I don't care for it much. Back in school the teachers made it seem so very boring.
