I won't be avoiding talking about pregnancy.... Or my baby.... Or any related subjects.... And I'm not sorry....

I know there will be some people who'll get sick of the sight of me between now and when my baby's born, because it will seem like all I ever talk about is being pregnant. The thing is - besides the fact that I couldn't give two you-know-whats what you think - being pregnant feels very significant, especially for someone like me who's spent 12/13 years getting used to the idea that I'd probably never be able to actually get pregnant. I've always believed I had PCOS, and it turns out I have. It just also turns out that this particular baby doesn't care for medical probabilities and wanted very much to grow in me So please, if you don't like it, avert your eyes and shurrup, for crying out loud. The End.

We've just been through one pregnancy wth @LovingMyBabies and we were all elated when Julian was born last week. I don't think you need to worry about us getting fed up with you talking about it - there is nothing more wonderful than bringing new life into the world.

I came across much more aggressively than I intended to The fact is that some people do get sick of seeing this sort of thing, and that's totally fine - not everyone wants to know. It's just that some people (in life, not specifically on here) seem to want to tell you how sick they are of seeing it, so I took my opportunity to nip that in the bud

I think pregnant women look exceptionally beautiful...they get a glow around 7th or 8th month of pregnancy. My neighbor looked so pretty...I feared my own evil eyes..good diet brings that glow. Remember to take a few pictures of your face...get somebody to do that...You will know what I mean.

@vandana7 I entirely agree with you about your remarks about beautifulness of a pregnant woman, it is aesthetic.

You don't have to worry about anyone in here being upset about you mentioning it all the time. I personally like to read things like that. I like to kow when the baby is born, and how you are doing as wel. By the way, congratulations, and I hope you have a happy, and healthy baby, and by all means let us know when the baby is born, as we all do care.

@rosekiss Due on the 8th of June, and it's a boy! Obviously I'd be happy either way, but I've really got used to him being a boy now so I hope they didn't make a mistake looking at the ultrasound - Leonard would be a terrible name for a girl He's named after my great grandad, whose birthday was on the 30th of May, so he could even be born on that day which would be a nice coincidence

You go on and say all you want to say (and keep on saying) about your pregnancy - this is a major event in your life and forever will be - and it's beautiful . You are a proud mama and it's ok to toot your horn about the wee one growing in your tummy. We can be right there with you on your preggo journey!!!

@much2say I was just thinking last night that it will be weird once he's born and I can't feel him in there any more! I've just been talking to him now - he normally kicks LOADS and this morning he's been quiet, so I sat back and told him I need him to wake up and get moving so I don't panic, and he's doing a few kicks and elbows for me now, so I can stop worrying again... for now

He's so kicky now! I went for another midwife appointment the other day and everything's going well, they were impressed with his heartbeat and he did some kicking to show them what he's made of

@Scindhia I had morning sickness for three months, starting at about seven weeks, and now the heartburn has indeed started! I'm 24 weeks today and my heartburn has been getting steadily worse for about three weeks - the other night it got so bad that it actually made me be sick It's all worth it though

Thanks! He's kicking really hard now, and he spends most of his time with his back against the right side of my belly, kicking me in the bladder I also felt a few kicks on my ribs the other day - he's definitely growing!

@LilyBeBack I was hoping for just a little more detail. I guess I will have to make up my own story. Hey, I have just looked up PCOS and it's a miracle. Your baby is precious and really good news. Look after yourself and baby

@Orson_Kart I'd definitely get in myLot trouble if I went into detail I actually found out I was pregnant when I went for my scan to confirm whether or not I had PCOS - the nurse said "well it looks like you have got it, but it also looks like you're about five weeks pregnant"

I love babies. I have three of them from age 5 to 1 years old. I would love to have another baby but hubby is done. Enjoy it while it last because it seems to end too quick or maybe that's just for me since I have earlier birds. Talking about it all you want it I don't care it doesn't bother me.

@LilyBeBack I hate and Love being pregnant all at the same time. My oldest was forced at at 34.5 weeks, my second he came on his own after two weeks of being on medical bed rest and them stopping my contractions and third I was having contractions for 12 weeks so being induced at 38.2 was very welcomed. It became a health risk if I went to 40 weeks for me and baby.

My little sister organised a surprise baby shower for me on Valentine's Day and I got SO many presents! Leonard's got almost all the clothes he'll need for his first three months now (I just need to get some more hats, bibs, and vests) and about half of what he'll need for the five or six months after that - that is unless he follows in the footsteps of a few of my family members and comes out gigantic

@mysdianait Oh that's amazing!! Was your grandson named after someone in the family? Leonard was my great grandad's name Everybody seems to really genuinely love the name Leonard What does your grandson get called for short? Or is it always Leonard? I like Len and Lenny, and of course Leonardo if I'm feeling all mainland European Leonard: Brave as a lion.
