My friend alerted me to some amazing interaction going on on FB. Reactions of different people to the same event is rather interesting.
One of our classmates from school who used to be at the bottom of the class has now done well and flaunts her success on FB.
It funny to see how the other classmate react to her success. I notice the mature.. self satisfied types congratulating her and wish her well.
I find some react as if she is doing what she does by fluke, almost is if they they waiting to see her fail.
There are others who seem to think that you cannot leave your past behind and your academics determine your future.
There are others who don't believe what she posts and have started some weird rumors about her. ( sending private mails)
There are some others like me who just watch and enjoy the interaction silently but never chip in.
I enjoying watching people, but I don't feel the need to talk on FB. I just send the person a private message.
Do you enjoy watching people?

I watch quite a few on FB without reacting to what I read.

More so in person than on FB. I get tired of the drama.

@sofssu lol I don't bother even going to class reunions, I figure the people I liked I still see the rest of them I didn't bother with then and I have no interest now!! But I went to a large school.

@BelleStarr I am with you there.. I hate FB I prefer people watching in person.. I haven't met these school mates of mine for years and its fun to see how each person has turned out to be.

I have self-banned myself from FB for a couple of months now. I think I have become too attached to it. I still browse but I don't do anything else. Yeah it's still fun to watch people flaunt, and post their life's drama. Maybe they just enjoy other people's attention. It's also possible that they can't talk to real people that's why they're letting it all out on FB. But for me though, I just let them be. As long as they don't tag me or send me never ending friend requests, it's okay with me. If I have nothing good to say, then I do nothing.

it's like a study, who matured, who is still small and petty, etc.

I am also an observer and a listener at times.

@nottoooldtowrite Good to know that.. We learn quite a bit being observers and listeners in the real world and online.

Sometimes I enjoy seeing what other people are posting on Facebook (especially some crazy cousins of mine and some co-workers) but I rarely get involved in their bragging. I'd much rather people watch in person
