I want to kill everyone this morning...

...because I am just not myself when I am hungry.
And I am hungry!
And I can't even eat a Snicker's™ bar. 
I have to do a 'fasting' blood test at the clinic in a few more hours, and I can't eat until after that.
But the bananas keep staring at me!
I planned on just sleeping late so it wouldn't bother me so much, but the cat said "IT'S TIME TO GET UP!!!"
At least I can have coughee...but I have to drink it blech...I mean black.
*goes off to throw rocks at people and cars*

I hope the blood test is over soon.

He's the sort of little punk who'd go ahead and attack your feet at random intervals through the day just to get even with them.

@LadyDuck After assuring me everything would be ready, I go to the lab this morning to find out they had not yet received anything from the doctor, whom I spoke to a week ago, and she wasn't in today, so someone else had to find the correct chart and look everything up and write the order for it...

Hopefully the coughee helped - isn't it supposed to be hunger suppressant? Are you even allowed to have coughee before that test?
The good thing is, after the test, you can go pig out!

@JolietJake What do you normally put in your coughee anyway? My dad always said to drink coffee black - he said that's how you get to the know the real taste of coffee. So I drink my coffee black. But there was a time when I used to dump a bunch of sugar and cream in mine . . . ohhhhhh!

I always try to get into the clinic as soon as I can when I have to do one of those stupid fasting tests.
The ones I really hate are the glucose ones where they make you down an entire bottle of the godawful glucose solution. Oh, yes. My empty stomach would love to have a glucose bomb first thing in the #$@!% morning.

@yukimori I could do it at the hospital, but if I did it earlier, I'd have to start fasting earlier to make up the difference, and going to bed hungry means I'd REALLY be ready to kill people when I woke up

I did a fasting blood test last week, its a rough start to the day for sure. I stayed in bed as long as I could, and then just showered and dressed and went off to the lab. Keeping busy I wasn't quite so bothered by missing that morning coffee, but I headed over to a drive thru right after I finished and enjoyed one on the go.

Haha you sound like me on a normal morning until I have my coffee. No one talks to me until I have had coffee. Once I have had it then it is safe to approach. Here in the UK you are not even permitted to have coffee when fasting for blood. Only plain water which makes me gag!

Now I wait until Tuesday to get the results...I can already give them the results...it was a blood test, you tested me, yes, I had blood.
