Disgusting

Ya know, I thought I had seen and heard everything in this disgusting world of ours but last night on NBC News they reported on an incident that happened on a school bus at Northbrook Elementary in Texas. Two 8-year-old boys pulled down another 8-year-old boys pants, sexually attacked him and then beat him up. Now mind you, the bus driver and the other kids on that bus did or said NOTHING. The police can't do anything because the boys are 8 and the law doesn't apply until the age of 10, so they can't arrest them. The school isn't saying anything either. The mother of the attacked boy is madder than hell and I don't blame her. What's she suppose to do; move to another school district just so her son can be safe? Those boys should be expelled and the bus driver fired. Not to mention I'd file a civil case against those boys' parents for injury to a child. Don't those parents realize what rotten kids they have? I'd be getting out a belt. http://www.nbcdfw.com/news/local/8-Year-Old-Boy-Sexually-Attacked-on-School-Bus-Mother-369504642.html
A Fort Worth mother says she is angry that little is being done after her eight-year-old son was allegedly sexually assaulted on a school bus by two other eight-year-old boys.

Oh my goodness that sounds horrible. Totally disgusting and I cannot believe that something can't be done about it.

Damn, the parents of those boys should be put in jail and all their kids taken from them. I've never before heard of an 8 year old sexually attacking anyone.

I would be mad as hell too, I cannot believe that those boys could not be punished. I know that in the UK they surely would be.

@nanette64 This is why the laws must be modified. The world is not what it used to be 40 years ago.

@LadyDuck Exactly. If only we could turn back the hands of time.

That's the problem with the USA @LadyDuck . Kids get away with so much crap today, it's ridiculous. And they wonder why most crimes are committed by kids under the age of 20.

That is awful and if it happened to my kids, I would have yanked them right out of that school system and home schooled them. Thank goodness, nothing happened to my kids in those days.

I would have too @LeaPea2417 . Bullying is bad enough and has gotten out of control, but to add this? Where are these kids getting this from?

@nanette64 I think with all the violence in movies and video games, it affects kids whether the entertainment industry thinks so or not.

@LeaPea2417 I do too. Kids are extremely impressionable. And parents just aren't parents any more.

That is terrible, and I can't believe nothing can be done. Back when I was that age I know myself and a couple of my buddie would return the favor. Back then we took care of things ourself..

@nanette64 Perhaps the bullied child has no friends to stand up for him. When I drove school bus I knew what went on, I assigned seats and I interacted often. Only on very rare occasions did I have a bully and you know what? I put the fear of their parents and the law on them.

You'd think that if the child is too young to do anything with regarding the law that the parent's would have to stand before a judge at least or something. I wonder whether it was a normal forced showing rather than what it's been made out to be too, but still to have that done on a bus in front of others would be too embarrassing even if only the pants were pulled down and nothing else.

CPS needs to be brought in to interview those 2 boys @MarshaMusselman . And what about the bus driver? Isn't he paying attention to kids up out of their seats wandering around? That's a danger all by itself.

Wow what a horrible incident. I would be suing someone. And one has to wonder if the boys are doing this at 8 years old what will they be like as adults. Beware.

I agree @fishtiger58 (suing). It makes me wonder too if those boys aren't being sexually assaulted by someone and they think this is okay to do. If they're doing this at age 8, I can only imagine at age 15.

@nanette64 That's what I'm concerned about, how they will be behaving at later ages.

This must be a new trend but I did not know it had started that early. We have had similar issues on Swim Team busses here in my state in the last three months. The kids are teens and they are being charged. Yes, I want to know where the bus driver was while this was going on?

Considering the garbage on TV and getting access or 'bad' sites on the computer, nothing surprises me anymore @amadeo .

I am right behind you on this @nanette. Disgusting really.... If law doesn't 't permits it then at least punish those kids and make them understand that what they did was wrong and criminal. Letting them off means harboring a future rapist or abuser in the making here....

That's disgusting! I don't want to blame anyone's parenting but if someone's child has the capacity to do something that awful to another child, they are bound to take responsibility for that!

I dont understand why boys of such young age exhibit sexually violent behaviour. Do they unconsciously learn it from adults around them. It does not paint a good picture for the future of our planet.

Its very dangerous that a 8year old boy was physically abused. Shame on those 8 years boys who did such type of harrasment and shame on those who remained silent. I think all theparents and teacher's should be careful and those boys need a counselling or psychological treatment.
